 Goodness, I just can't keep up with you guys.

Sarah, when I did neurontin I had to slowly increasing my dose.

Weave, Your DD will be in my prayers while she is gone. Enjoy your time together today.

Barb, the fatigue is one of the worst thing I deal with on an every day ordeal.

Kay, I also think you should write a book about your life. :D

Sandy, Sorry about Jim's Dr being a @$$. I think you did the best thing for Jim by firing the jerk. Best of luck with the new Dr.

I know I'm over looking someone again so here's a hug for all that needs one :grouphug:

As for me, my moms hanging in there, she's still a mess.
I got a call from my nannies DD this morning, she had a Dr. appointment but was going to come over after that, well her DD calls me to say her mom is at the hospital. Well the Dr was worried about her heart and did an EKG, he didn't like how it looked so he called for an ambulance to come get her and take her to the hospital for more test. I still haven't heard anything else yet.

I sat in the middle of the nursery on a tiny stool, passing out corn and cabbage to the 7 moms.

then I had our builder-guy Amelio go to the other side of the nursery (outside) and make a bit of noise.

the baby ducklings all filed past me to get away from the strange noise, and I counted 'em as they went by.

then, Amelio went to the other side, and we did it again in reverse... since the counts were almost the same (81 and 82), I figured that was close enough to correct.

:D  :D

I'm takin' it easy, lol... I promise...

:p:):p

sort of like when we were kids counting the frieght train cars,

that would of been cool to see them all file pass in single row
thanks

enjoyed some time at the beach with the girls..with my 13 year olds help, cause it hurts to carry either younger ones...

we went down...just down the street...we took the van though...

sat in the sand and played...some of them went in the cold water, some just played in the sand...the sand on my feet I enjoyed a lot...started thinking enjoy the feeling of things when I can feel hehe...the breeze and coolness tonight at the beach felt really good.

So far been feeling fine on the neurontin first dose...no drunk feelings so far...knock on wood...hugsss, sarah

tkrik 07-24-2008 07:30 PM

Sarah did the Neurontin help at all? Just wondering if you had a similar experience like I did. It felt great to be free of that pain for once.

sabimax 07-24-2008 07:58 PM

TK I am being hesitant to say it is doing it...but so far I feel pretty darn good....we will see when waking..that is usually my most painful leg time...or when I lay down to bed....took the second dose a bit ago....I dont feel dizzy or drunk either...so maybe tomorrow I will go ahead with the three doses..or at least the two again...

thanks...

Feeling if anything, overwhelmed...I am thinking I made a mistake when I took on being the boss...the owner of the McDs I was assistant manager for...asked in January if I would go over and run the Walmart McDs he owns....I said no then..that probably too much for my plate with five kdis and all....in spring he came back and asked again....

I pondered, I was excited to run a store...small and thought that would be nice size then for me to handle...thought no, yes, no, yes, no for a week when thinking...wish I landed the day I talked to him with the no....

last few weeks though my cogfog...has been effecting me at work I think....blank out with memory issues...and just so much to cover as boss, than as a shift manager... at times not sure it was worth the change

anyhow, just doing what I can when there, without worrying about the place when home...that is hard to do...the place needs improvements...and anyohw...wont go into all....

we need me to work for financial, we both work full time....well gotta run..little ones want some loving...and I am feeling pretty darn good....so hoping I sleep well..and have a good nights rest....thanks all, sarah

Good morning from over-do-it land, LOL :D Still a little out of it from my landscaping yesterday, but hoping the coffee will help the brain get a jumpstart.

Since the weather's nice, been thinking of maybe getting out of the house today doing some light errands. But first need to make sure I'm awake enough, LOL :D

Just realized I probably need to make an appointment with my neuro anyways. I think I'm close to the 6 month mark for the next checkup. :Hum: They usually have reminder calls/letters, but haven't seen one yet. Of course it could always be in the mailbox waiting for me, LOL

Hope everyone has a great day! :grouphug:

I understand Frank, and honestly I am not as naive as it sounds like on here, this is the first time he has sought professional help and seems committed to it so as long as he does what he needs to do and we continue counseling together then I will give it a go if not then I will be the one leaving next time!

Have to find it but I have an excellent recipe for a whipped homemade buttercream that is the cats meow...I won't use anything else now!

SandyC 07-25-2008 10:41 AM

Hey all! Today I am feeling better and happy to see many here feel better too. Sarah, I am glad the neurontin seems to be helping.

My mom called and is making me crazy worrying over everything. I told her to get on her knees and thank God for all the positives in her life. We had quite the discussion last night with how she is blaming everyone around her for her life problems. I gently told her that I love her as my mother but she has not gained the right to speak to me as if I am the cause of her problems. I also threw in that she can be mean at times and to lay off my sister who can't jump every time she wants her to. My sister has three little girls and mom called her last night to figure out her checkbook. When my sister told her she was busy mom gave her a hard time. I can see the pattern because she has called me at least 20 times in the past two days.

Joel Osteen once said that some people who are unhappy will do their best to bring those around them down so that they feel better. He also said no one can make you unhappy, only yourself can do that. I agree and will not let her bring stress like that into my life. I love my mom but mercy me, this surgery has made her more ornery than before. lol We begged her to move up here so she could live financially happy and she refused. We were so proud of her but now she is complaining about it and blaming us for it. Can't win. lol

Anyway, I am going to do some bills today and laundry if the heat stays down. Hope everyone else has a great day!

Renee, freeze that buttercream and send some to Jim and I. I'll put some on my brownies. Yum!
