Hey all! Busy day here at the Champion residence. I swept and mopped the floors, did laundry, replaced Jim's keyboard on his computer, fixed the mouse and now warming up din din. I forgot to tell you guys that while we were down south Jim spilled a cup of coffee on his puter and thank goodness it dried out and it works! All I had to do was pop the battery, hold the start button for 30 seconds and wallah!, the computer works!

I am off to watch tv with Jim now. See you later gators!

PS: The dog has a UTI as suspected again. This is her third. She has entericoccus and is trying to be like her daddy. haha

LOL, Renee. That is going above and beyond. Love the pictures. She is too cute.

Kay - Aaawwww. That is so cute.

Everyone is still asleep this morning and I am enjoying some quite time and a cup of coffee and getting a kick out of DBF cat playing outside. She's practicing pouncing. LOL. She really thinks she's a dog - call her name and she comes running wagging her tail. She was playing a game of chase this morning running inside and chasing me down the hall and then back in to the kitchen and outside. She got mad at me when I closed the bathroom door to use it. She hates closed doors plus her "playmate" was on the other side. LOL.

No work on the house today. I'm at a stand still. DBF needs to do the drywall in the kitchen and then shoot the texture on it before we can move on. I did do a little weeding in the flower beds yesterday. Since it is a rental and the renters are more than likely not going to take care of a flower bed I am going to make a rock and cacti garden in them. It will be best as they get full sun all day. The dry summer heat would kill anything else I put in there even some of the other succulents.

Hope you all have a good day!

Mom is doing better but her eyesight is still a little off. She can't even read her checkbook. She has horrible writing so this is no surprise...lol Her memory is getting better everyday so we are hopeful. She is thinking by next Thursday she will be able to live on her own. I doubt she'll be able to drive though.

Look at you go...I was lucky to get all the dishes done yesterday...now the unloading of the dishwasher. I had a horrible night last night. One of what I call my pain night...when the pain just won't quit yelling at me. Went to bed finally at 7 this morning but slept until just shy of 1...felt good and feeling better...

Sandy, I'm glad our dogs aren't mimicking Craigs stuff. Say hi to Jim for me...you take care!!

I had a very low key day as I think I overdid it on Friday. Yesterday
evening the pain in my arms and legs was awful. It felt like I had
run a marathon(muscle pain) but I also felt like my bones just hurt so
bad. I could hardly walk.

I put hot packs on my thighs(which made them tingle) but it felt good. I went to bed early. Today they are not as bad but
still not pleasant I guess you play you pay.

I hope Im not heading for a flair as Im starting to pee alot too. I hope
its just a flareup and nothing to serious.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend full of love, happiness, and
peace.

Sigh!

My DD18 is SO 18! She is a senior in HS, and has a hx of making good decisions. She is currently under the delusion, however, that 18 is a magic age, and that parents no longer have the authority to make any decision for her.

The current issue is her health. She has been feeling under the weather for 4-6 weeks. She has been to the doctor multiple times. They have done blood tests, chest X-rays, and checked her stool sample.

They have currently ruled out anemia, mono, inflammation of the joints and thyroid stuff. The only reason that I know that is that my DH went along to her last appointment. She has been going to the doctor alone, because she likes to be independent. However, she has failed to obtain information about what they are testing for, etc.

They also tested for 3 additional things; netiher DH or DD understood what the nurse said, and, neither one of them asked her to repeat it.

DD has frequently missed school during the last weeks, because she is so fatigued. She has lost weight -- is a small girl, and probably down to 100 lbs.

The kicker is that she continues to believe that it is OK to go out in the evenings when she has missed school. It is particularly church (youth group) events that she wishes to attend. DH believes that "church is more important than school", so the 3 of us are arguing frequently about what she can and can't do.

DH and I are planning to sit down tomorrow evening and discuss that, along with just the general issue of her attitude that we can no longer tell her what to do, and come to some mutual decisions which we will then presnet to her.

I am so tired of this. I have always been very reluctant to see my kids grow up and move away. I am beginning to see "senioritis" as a process to help parents WANT their kids to move away. I don't know how much longer I can deal with this attitude stuff.
