Well thankfully the landlord does not seem as stressed as I do about the floors,and did tell me to start with the cheapest method of repair first, God love him LOL! Unfortunately some of the places I have called have a $450 dollar minimum! It might be easier not to mention cheaper to just pull up the boards and replace them...gonna have to check into that! I am extremely cog foggy today worse than usual I think the greatness I was feeling off of the Rebif has worn off and now I am getting the true effects of my MonSter...it is very unsettling, I feel like I'm stoned or tripping...BTW i'm not! LOL

Hey all. Thanks for the well wishes on mom. The stubborn woman went home today to live alone. She is really pushing our buttons in the bad mood arena. We are trying hard to understand. My cousin Bonnie spent the day with her yesterday and said she was ready to choke mom by the end of the day...haha. She is really mad that she cannot drive. She thought she would just pop back to normal after the surgery. UGH. Anyway, she also wants her car and my sister is bringing it to her tomorrow minus the keys. Man, this is going to be a long ride. I hope she can go back to work by the end of March because my bank is starting to get a dent. I told my sister that my oldest brother is next in the financial area. lol My bills were over huge this month after that trip. Not to mention my credit card tried to charge me a late fee when I paid them. They took it off. I would have canceled them if they didn't.

San? I humbly suggest that *somebody* discreetly scout around...

just in case your mom has a SPARE KEY stashed somewheres...

Thanks everyone! I am feeling a bit better today -- less coughing. And my voice is about 75% better. Now I get to see my opthamologist on Monday regarding eye pain and floaters. :eek:

Went out with some friends for lunch. I am going to see "Definitely, Maybe "tomorrow. I have not been to a movie in awhile. Has anyone seen it? I also got "Real women have Curves" from Netflix today so I will probably watch it sometime this weekend.

My good news: I feel like I am walking a little better. It has been gradual. I rarely use my cane at home and have been leaving it in my car when I do not have to do alot of walking. My gait is still not entirely normal, but I think there has been an improvement. So I am looking forward to ty #4 next Wednesday even with all of the recent warnings and my problems with my 2nd infusion. I do plan on asking about periodic bloodwork. It has not been part of the protocl with ty in the past.

Sandy, Mom's can be really stubborn. My mom who is 79 just called to tell me she has shingles on her face. It has been bothering her for about a week, but would not go to the doctors until today. She lives in Ohio and I often feel guilty that I do not live closer to her. I also worry about her driving. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters and we all started depositing 150.00 each per month to her account in order to help her out a few months ago. She basically has been living on her social security and savings which is running out. I hope your mom is feeling better soon. My point in this long ramble is that maybe your siblings could share the financial responsibility.

Sorry for the long ramble; I guess I am feeling chatty today:D I really need to get serious about my research project starting on Monday. Can I blame my procrastination on MS?:rolleyes:

Kay, she doesn't have a spare as far as we or she knows. She was freaking out before surgery that if any of us lost her key she would be without her car because it was the only one she had. Whew! lol

Barb, she is a stubborn one for sure. Jim and I have been giving her money for some time. I told Jim this morning that if she doesn't get better it would be cheaper to move her in with us. :eek: Seriously, it would be hard but we could do it if she needed to be with someone. I already passed the word that my older brother is up next for a deposit if needed. :D

She did call me today and said she was sorry for being mean to me but that she is so frustrated by what is happening. I told her I understand but that since she can't do anything about it to try to relax. She then went on to tell me how her friend's kids visit everyday and how close they all are. Nice guilt trip huh? Gotta love that woman and I do! Where else did I get my own stubborness? lol

Well, I updated on the thread I started in ye olde "stumble inn", but wanted to let you know that things seemed to go ok for the stress test.

Walking wise, I was having a good day, so managed to do the treadmill instead of the medicine to get my heartrate up. They think I'm gonna be fine, but it's up to what the results show. I'll find out next week.

Did crash big time when I came home. Closed my eyes to sunlight, and woke up to darkness, LOL. Still tired and kinda loopy, but so far so good. :D

Happy to hear that you survived the stress test and impressed you did it on the treadmill. I hope you get good results!!!
