this pharse has kept my mind open as to what i do or say and how it effects others, sometiems i fail, but i always attempt, and with this illnesss and all these meds I fail the most with my wingman DD

My dear mother told me: "Don't ever do anything that would make me ashamed of you."

It didn't work 100% of the time, but I still hear her voice saying it, 33 years after her passing. It's kept me honest and helpful, and I feel blessed that she put that im my mind!

Always make sure you have on clean underwear when you go out

My mom actually used to say that to us LOL


I try really hard "Not to judge a book by its cover and treat people the way I want to be treated.

My mom has lived by both those rules her whole life. I have never heard her say anything negative about anyone my whole life.

I've gotten a lot of good advise over the years..The four that have always stuck in my mind (yeah, sometimes things stick) are:
1) No guts, no glory
2) Never make an important decision or big change in a down time.
3) You'll be married & dead a long time. Enjoy your youth!
4) On every person you see, see the face of Christ.
