And she's very good at it! I have a beautiful bracelet that she made just for me. Thank you Greta.

Me too I just found in the last few months how fun beading is and my friends all like getting a little "trinkets". I now have thoughts of doing a mosaic with beads or something a steping stone or wall art with those tiny glass beads. who knows ??. . . thats what tomorrows are for..
I mostly write and I would say that is my talent... I even have a few poems about the sayings I found inside my dove bar wrapers. in the creative forum here.
Friends2 ,Great thread!!!
PEACE

Herekitty, Come on over here & you can cook for me then we can do something together. I never know if the kids will be home either (& my DH is gone for the summer). I usually eat alone. I always ask but sometimes they don't know if they'll be home for supper. After John comes home you can still come, the kids might be at work, school or with friends. (Lisa just told me she "is going to Donny's & then to his uncles B-day party"...she was home long enough to shower).

I've done something for a few years now. I make cards by rubber stamping. I usually make all our Christmas cards. It's kinda tiring so I start in early Nov.

Well I have always wanted to work with special needs kids, especialy autism. So I have decided to volunteer at one of the schools and help out in the "autism" room. I am hoping to learn so much and really find out if this is where I belong. Wish me luck...Sue

I guess I can say "sex" is my passion...LOLOLOL just kidding...

I have many passions...I wish I could pursue them all...

I love to write, but I suck at writing...

I love music, and I was taught to play the piano when I was three. But I haven't played since I was 10 (only on occassion these days).

I love to sing, but I can't carry a tune...

I love to take pictures, but all my photos look more like Andrew Adam than Ansel Adams'...

I love to draw, but they all look like stick figure people and even they want to run away from me...

so, while I have so many passions, I am simply not good at any. But I DO enjoy them when I do get to them, though...and I guess having passion and being good at the passion are two different things... ^_^

my wife is my passion now...can I say that?? LOLOLOL

LOL... You have a passion for life.

On Sesame Street, they used to sing

Don't worry if it's not good enough for anyone else to hear...
Just sing, sing a song

I figure, most of the important stuff I learned when I was 3. It made sense then, it makes sense now.

If it makes YOU happy, it's all good.

Keep at all of it. Loving what you do will make you better at it.

about 9-10 months before being dx'd ... I prayed to do something for others with my talent - otherwise, I didn't want to be here in this world ...

then I was inspired to design and make quilts for children in wheelchairs or facing some impairment ...

then - I found a 'real' job that was interfering with my new love - but I kept designing and coming up with ideas when the sx's started ... then, April 2007 - dx'd ...

I was mad, upset .. didn't know what to do -

I had a renewed joy with the quilts AND to finish my master's in non-profit ... now I have set up my own non-profit corporation to work with children with disabilities ... and finishing my master's this december!

I'm excited to take my talent and do something with it to make others happy ... that's what passion is, right??

Default Who Moi,

I think passion is all about the joy it gives you while you are doing it! Keep doing all those things that brings you great joy!
