This news broke my heart...what a giving and wonderful person he was. His time was too short and I'll miss him!

The world has lost an amazing Political Analyst. The next election just won't be bearable w/o Tim.

Bearygood, I hope you don't mind me taking that quote from Tim Russert from you as my siggy.
I was watching the bunch of different tributes to him on different networks. One of the things he said really resonated with a current situation of ours. It was about Tim's dad telling him that the world doesn't owe him anything and that he needs to work hard for everything and how Tim tried his very best to instill that unto his son (with some modifications, of course) looking at Tim's son who turned out quite well. I believe Tim succeeded... We've been having situations with our kids and we hope our kids will learn that...eventually... boy, who CAN they find to replace him????

I was shocked when I heard that Russert had passed. My dad died on the kitchen floor of a heart attack when I was 17, so I felt this deeply.
I felt so sorry for his son and his dad...no parent wants to survive their children. Tim, rest in peace. Go get 'em!

It really is a great loss. He wasn't full of himself like most you see on TV nowadays, and he could ask tough questions without acting like a jerk. There were plenty of times he'd ask a follow-up question that was completely in tune with my thinking. It was so refreshing (really hate it when a question isn't answered, lol). When he did speak of himself, he was always humble and gave credit where credit was due. He died way too early. My prayers go out to his family. However, in looking back on recent clips, I suspect he died doing what he loved. His book also gave him the opportunity to resolve any issues and fully connect with his family again. His son will have a good and strong story to carry with him for the rest of his life. Rest in peace, Tim. You were a beautiful man. ![]() |

My most favorite thing I've heard is about his son's tattoo. His mother had bought him a new shirt for Christmas and had asked him to try it on. His T-shirt got caught up in something and ... she saw it. The tattoo.
She told his father, Tim, about it. When he asked Luke about the tattoo, his son explained. It was the initials T.J.R., his grandfather's and father's initials. He said that he always wanted them at his side.

There are some medical details and facts on this site that
are very illuminating about the way modern medicine treats patients today: http://www.naturalnews.com/023472.html Why give statins to a person who doesn't have high cholesterol?
