I love these insights threads but Heavens to Betsy, how do you keep up with each other?? If I answer the first post on a new thread, I have to keep looking back to remember who it was and what he/she said or asked! I don't even remember what I said by the time I get to the end of my post! (What did I just say?)

I sometimes have to cheat and look over the topic review beneath the reply box. There - I gave away my secret - LOL! :D

Shoot, sometimes I copy the text of someone who already listed everyone and use that to reply for myself. :o I don't copy their words but it does make it easier to keep track of everyone. :D

Everyone, feel free to use mine when I do this to make it easier.

I scroll back....sometimes waaaay back (and many times!) in order to remember to mention everyone. And then I inevitably leave someone out! Believe me.....it's not done from memory! :p

you talking to me??? LOL reminds me of Mork & Mindy!!

I can't stand that long!! and if I'm cooking something - I HAVE to put a timer on it (even for a minute) .. otherwise, I walk away and forget what I was doing!!!

found a Hamilton Beach 5qt crockpot at wally world the other day - was tempted to get it...$16 !!!

Good morning everyone! :)

Sandy, I hope the docs get your Mom's seizures figured out.

I'm gonna save you all a lot of time: if you're missing something, check behind the printer first! If I had done that yesterday, I'd have saved about 2 hours looking for some Thanksgiving GTG invitations. Sheesh!

Haha! My son and DIL & cutiepie showed up before I could get the lasagne in the oven Sun. afternoon. But I was taking some apple crisp out of the oven, so we had that for dinner, lol. (They had to hit the road b/c of potential snow).

Frank, your cooking makes my mouth water! Maybe you need to apply for that show, "Take-Home Chef." ;)

tkrik, you amaze me! How'd you do all that in one day? And how are you feeling today?

FinLady and soxmom, I scroll down too, but I didn't realize it was cheating, lol! :p

Kay and Kelly, sounds like you need better bed partners! (Esp. you, Kay!)

Blessings and DM, I'm with you -- takes quite awhile to get caught up on this thread! But there are some really great people who post here.

hollym, I am SO looking forward to seeing the pics from your GTG. Sorry you weren't feeling better.

Vonn, go for it: get the crock pot. I'm still using the one I got for our wedding 35 years ago, lol! I've wanted a bigger one, but my DS said his large one took longer to cook things.

Must get busy creating/printing invitations to the family reunion we are hosting the Sat. after Thanksgiving. I hope you all have a great Monday! :grouphug:

hubby did.

it's HIS job to clean the litter box, and he didn't. (it was really rank!)

in his defense, he was busy, making cheese, baking bread, milking goats, herding cheekins, and celebrating Regime Change.

plus, he made me a batch of Special Brownies, for the amelioration of my current pseudo-flare-from-Hades.

I guess our kitty sees us as a UNIT, because it was MY futon, and MY clean (perfectly folded) laundry.

I asked her this morning (like she'd answer or anything, lol!) WHY she didn't piddle on mi esposo's stuff...

she turned tail, and went to snooze on the porch.

:D:cool::D

told hubby he had to sleep on the stinky futon last night... since Kitty's *vengeance* was his fault.

I noticed, DH waited until I fell fast asleep to climb into our bed.

:D:p:D

San, prayers for your mom... and your DS. I had a son with a seizure disorder (post meningitis) and I have to say... it's one of the most stressful things on the planet... some things are OVER quick, but seizures, they just keep coming BACK, like a bad dream... and the meds... yikes, they made my child a ZOMBIE... so I understand if your mom may not be taking them properly, they affect memory and cognition deeply.

so, herre's some BIG hugs for you honey, and hang IN there!

Frank, my sweetie rarely uses recipes either, except for the first time.

I have to say... in four years of togetherness, he's NEVER made the same main course twice... even if it's the same dish, it's deliciously different each time.

cooking from scratch, and cooking with inventiveness and flair, that's a gift, and kudoes to YOU...

:grouphug:

oh, and I scroll back too... but sometimes it doesn't go back FAR enough, so I use the "History" and open a new window, and go pack a page or two, to find whoever it was I wanted to answer...

I absolutely CANNOT depend on my memory these days... if mah haid wasn't ATTACHED, I'd LOSE it !!

:o:confused::o
