Good morning all :) Another day, a new thread, and cup of coffee in hand. :D

No purchases of art yet, which is ok and understandable. Still having fun, and got a lot of compliments. I'll upload later the one I haven't posted anywhere yet. It's another sunset/silhoutte painting which has a cottage in it. Everyone keeps saying, "I wish I lived there" :)

Fatigue hasn't been too, too bad. Seems like the supplement I'm taking helps. LOL. I can't spell it without the box in front of me. It begins with an "A" and I've heard other MS'ers talk about it.

Have a great day all. :grouphug:

~~~~~~~~
Renee, Cool news about being bug free. :Dancing-Chilli:
Char, Hope you have a blast at the seminar
Momma, mmm. Brunswick stew sounds good, and so does the Candy! ;)
Twink, Glad your Christmas shopping is almost done. Want to help me with mine, LOL. I haven't even started yet. :D
Deb, :hug:
Kay, know what you mean. Those little skeeters will bite me through my clothes. My hubby jokes that they leave him alone when I'm around since I'm sweeter than he is. :D
Vonn, LOL! love that insight
Sandy, At least you got some stuff done. :)
NaeNae 11-08-2008 09:42 AM
I am feeling better the spasms have been a nightmare and I told Sandy and noone else I fainted at work on Wed. But I think I am on the mend. I have not even started Christmas shopping yet, for some reason I am just not even in the mood for the holidays and yet here they are just around the corner! Today I am cleaning and doing laundry UGH
barb02 11-08-2008 09:52 AM
Good Morning! It is cold here, and I am still in my pj's. I have just been reading a book by Julia Glass, called I See YOu Everywhere. She wrote a book called The Three Junes that I really like, although it was sad. This one is about the relationship between two sisters.
I don't have much planned for today. I should go to the post office if I get dressed before noon.
Jenn, I imagine that people are buying less art these days. but it great that you are getting some positive reactions. So when you have the time, will you get out the box and let me know what supplement you are trying? Please:Thanx:
Char, have a good time today!
Sandy, I did think that you needed a little excitement (the good kind) in your life last night.:Dancing-Chilli:
Momma, I don't think I have ever eaten Brunswick stew. In fact I do not know what's in it. What kind of candy do you make?
To Kelly, Frank, Deb D, Deb, Vonn,soxmom, Wiz, Twink, Kay, Renee, and anyone else that I am missing :Wave-Hello::You-Rock::Heart::OuttaHere: Have a great weekend!
Morning! I am down to two loads of laundry left to dry!!!! Whoohoo! Chris may be coming home after his PE Assessment test up north. Please say a little prayer that he does well because he has to pass this test to start student teaching.
After I finish the laundry I plan to bag up the garbage downstairs and haul it upstairs. I also have an old power wheelchair that I need to get up here before next week. We have a friend coming to get it and fix it up for someone in need. Maybe Chris and I can haul it up once we take the batteries out of it.
That's about it. Hugs and well wishes to everyone!
Honey-Do day!
I have my DH all day long to help me! :Excited: And boy, do I have BIG plans!
Our goal is to get the dining room/kitchen area ready to repaint and refloor before the new countertops arrive (hopefully just before T-giving). Then we get to learn how to tile the backsplash.
Then we can put the house up for sale! (Moving a few blocks to live with my Dad).
So I've been cleaning out my cabinet full of piano music so we can move it out of the room. I marvel how much stuff I've collected!
DH is supposed to be getting the shutters taken down so we can paint them before bad weather sets in tomorrow.
Sandy, sounds like you'll be done before me, so I'm still saving my laundry for you, lol! ;) Nice that you are giving a second life to that W/C.
FinLady, I should be available right after thanksgiving to help you with your shopping. BTW, my license plate is BN2SHOP (Born to Shop). Women "get" it, but men think it says, "Been to the shop" (as in repair shop).
Yabbit, you and RW "behaving"? Hahahaha! Her neuro is way too optimistic! Hope you have a great time!
NaeNae, I'm so sorry that you fainted at work. :hug: Wow. No wonder you're not in the Christmas shopping mood. You take it easy, okay?
Pediculosis, hehe, I just looked it up! :rolleyes: Momma, I know zakly what you mean about extra poundage. Why do I keep eating after I'm full?
Barb02, I'm still in my PJs too. I really DO get dressed daily, but I'm never in a hurry to do so. PJs are just so darned comfy! I HATE to harness up the "team." Ugh.
Kelly, thanks for your very kind PMs. :hug:
FinLady, I hope your art starts moving. Maybe put big red bows on it to remind folks how great it would look under the tree.
Kay, how is the weather there? Paloma is a huge storm -- I hope you avoid the fiercest winds. Be safe :hug:
Hugs to Vonn, Frank'sAngel, Wiz, et al. :hug:
Okay, break is over! Time to get moving.
I hope everyone has a pain-free and productive day.
RW and I had a great time as usual! We were very well behaved! We both got some good information, I am glad I attended and always great to spend time with RW!
Now I am working on crochetting some mittens for a friend's kids I met at school. It was funny I told her to draw their hands and I would make them each a pair. Well, she came with her two childrens and a friend of her's 3 kids also! She brought with her a bag of yarn so I guess that is a good trade off!
Have a good afternoon. DBF asked me last night if I wanted to go out for Sushi tonight for dinner so that will be nice. Closest thing to date we have had in years!!! :D I will take it!
Could everyone say a quick prayer for my 11 year old Boston Terrier named Sierra? She is sick and I'm worried we will lose her. She was coughing up blood this morning and we took her to the vet. They think it is pneumonia and we are hoping and praying that the antibiotics fix her up. That dog has become my Grandma's best friend since she moved here. It would crush her to lose that dog.
We were all crying this morning because we didn't know if we were going to be bringing the dog back home with us, but we did for now. If she gets worse, we have to take her to an emergency vet hospital.
Hey All!
holly: Sorry to hear about your poochie and sure hope she recovers. My two doxies are getting old and it scares me to think of~~~ . :(
It's bleak and nasty here in Toad Hollow and I'm hunkered in for the day.
Hope you all are doing well. :grouphug:
Part one.
Afternoon everybody!! :grouphug:
Momma,
Your stew sound delicious! Think you'll have any leftovers? :wink:
Renee,
Thank God the bugs are gone. Our sons had that in grade school and it was tough to get rid of them, I don't envy you the job of having that problem with a little girl with long hair.
Deb,
I hope you can get Frank to rest, for his sake and yours! :hug:
Frank,
Mind your wife please? :hug:
Twinks,
I'm glad you're moving in with your Dad. :hug:And congrats on getting your shopping done! :eek: I haven't even begun to think about it!
Vonn,
Mae West was sure an attention-getter in her day, wasn't she? :D
Sandy,
Good for you on getting your laundry finished, and I said a little prayer for Chris. :hug:
Kay,
How are the little chicklets today? And your miffed goose, is he being a good boy?
HK,
Your kitties must be real snuggle bugs. Our Rocky sure is. He sits on both our laps, and he's only two years old! I haven't had such a snuggler for a kitty before!
Char,
I'm glad you and RW had a nice time this morning. :hug:
Finn,
I hope your day was good and I look forward to seeing your other painting!
ewizabeth 11-08-2008 03:24 PM
Part two.
Barb,
I'm in my sweats today and haven't gotten a thing accomplished yet, so you're in good company. :hug:
Holly,
I hope Sierra will recover from the pneumonia, especially for your dear Grandma's sake. :hug:
DM,
Have a good day in Toad Hollow! :hug:
My update:
I'm sitting at the computer since I got up. DH and I played with Rocky. A good kitty is a tired kitty, lol.
I should use the elliptical and take my shower soon. We're going to mass tonight so I can sleep late tomorrow too. I have a lot of things I should be getting done. I took the Provigil but still, here I sit. :rolleyes: Maybe I should turn off the computer, lol. :p
Have a great weekend everybody! :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
