Back from drs office, funny how I know they cant over the phone...but my question over phone was...if this is acting up as last time..and she gave me prednisone taper can you check with her if we can do that again..as I still have some of my script.....nope not over phone they said...I know reasons...I understand..

so I go in, hey lets do a prednisone taper if that seemed to help last time hahahaa but then she also did a CBC to check my blood levels...(in case viral thing....?? huh...didnt we determine I have had this crap for 9 years...so I doubt this numbness is a NEW viral thing hehe) but also doing a mono test..some titers...or something to do with ebstein barr...one and only test I think maybe I havent had over all the years...so who knows....

anyhow..she said I can up my neurontin if needed, I did talk with her thougha bout my wierd down feelings..and the thought of meds making them...so she said to watch that especially if upping the med...

she did say let her know when If i do want to do the Mayo or UofM....she is also wanting me to see a immunologist....but we agreed for her to first write a letter to him..stating my sxs...and if he feels the need to see me..if my sxs apply to anything he could add for me....good idea...I dont want to do another wasted trip with a dr saying why are you here..hehe...

also changing to this dr assistant...for now..as she is so much easier to get into see then the dr that was new to me....this PA has seen me a number of times and I do like her...just as well as this dr that is new to me that I can never get into see very quick..months...!! so now I get my annual check up that in few weeks with her...instead of waiting till January..with the dr...long story..just when cancelling apt with the dr you cant get in for like 4 months!!:eek:

ok sorry long story hehehe...starting the prednisone taper...and we will see hoping helps some...as right now hard to walk without worrying about falling...I will head into work tomorrow and give it a try. hugsss,sarah
hugss all, sarah

hey Sarah ....hope you are feeling better!! (yes, I still have your container you sent me with the cookies!!) ... was going to return it to you this summer before the bottom fell out of my life ... will think of something and get it back to you!!

this is something wonderful: I didn't open my mail from the neurologist that I had received on Wednesday - thinking it had something to do with my account ... and I figured it was no big deal ...

but it was!! I opened it to find a letter dated 10/17 ... the short of it - that the letter is to certify that I am a patient under her care for MS ... etc etc 'which makes it difficult for her to be gainfully employed at this time.'

is this the type of letter I need?? I made a copy and sent it to my lawyer ... hopefully this will help my case to move it thru the system quickly ... I'm still considering writing Sen Kagen here in Wisc about my situation ...

hope all is well with everyone ... I was able to clean up the kitchen today - it's only a 6x6 space ... but, it's done - now I'm going to make some grilled cheese and chix noodle soup!!

I'll be gone most of the day tomorrow (sign for the Legion -- it's in my painting album) ... have a great weekend everybody!!

Ok Kelly here's the details..............

he is hot hunky make your teeth sweat good lookin! LOL And he came in for lab cause bless his heart he has been sick as a dog. Well he had on tight jeans and leather chaps over them and tight black shirts....he had to take the shirts off in order to have the lab so there he sat in his leathers with no shirt and washboard abs while I sat across from him trying not to slobber all over myself! Every female in the clinic suddenly needed to be in the lab for some reason LOL which he was thoroughly enjoying every minute of, one girl even brought a camera! Well my doctor is an artist she does oils, a very good artist and she did one recently of a cowboy butt, well we decided we needed one of my patients butt! so he let us take pics and swoon over him LOL He had to come in the next day to drop off some specimens and brought along his girlfriend because she was sick with something entirely different, then he asked if I would give him a flu shot, when he walked out of the room his girlfriend told me....I think he likes you....he finds every excuse to call you and when I said I wasn't feeling good he got on the phone and said I'm calling Renee! I said honey trust me if I thought I had a chance I'd knock you down off the table trying to get past you! LOL we both cracked up!

Vonn, hope the letter from the doc helps. :hug:

Sarah, mmmm. Homemade cheesecake sounds awesome! One lucky fellow.

Renee, What a great story. Reminds me of one of the techs at my MRI place. He's a hottie too, LOL. ;)

~~~~~~~~~
Not much going on here. Made the leftover chili into a casserole, and it turned out well. Hubby has taken over the tv to play one of his shoot 'em up games, so I'm just surfing the web.
Gonna have to call doc on Monday since I've been having pain issues for a couple of weeks, and we're both worried that it hasn't gone away. :( I suspect it might be MS related, but better to make sure nothing else is going on. Fun, fun, fun.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! :grouphug:
Hi! Just got back from the movies and dinner. Sorry ... I just mentioned food.:p I had a turkey manhattan, mashed potatoes, and a salad. I just ate one half of the sandwich and potatoes. I saw the Changeling which was well done, but sad, grim, and a bit gruesome. Clint Eastwood directed it. I would not really recommend it. I am looking forward to seeing Australia which opens over Thanksgiving. Have any of you seen the previews for it? Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman are in it. There are also a couple of Christmas movies coming out that look cute.
Well, I am going to go read for awhile and then I am off to bed.:Zzzz: Good night everyone.
I forgot to mention that my pcp's office called late yesterday afternoon and all my bloodwork was good. My cholesterol was down from 190 to 160 and by numbers for my bad cholesterol were really good. It was funny; the nurse was so happy aobut my results. I could not believe that I received the results on the same day as my tests.
Hey everyone! I made fried chicken, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, brussel sprouts and Texas toast for dinner tonight. Yummy. Now, if only someone would clean things up. haha
Hope this finds everyone doing well. Tammy, we'll talk soon. Once Nik goes back to school and I only have one person to take care of I'll have more time. :hug:
