I look in the mirror sometimes and I'm startled anew each time with wondering simultaneously... how come I never realized when was younger that I looked so much like Mom? and at the same time, by how much I miss her.

oh, and WHEN did I get so OLD? (it kinda snuck UP on me!)

I only wish I was my mom, she had the patience of a saint, the self-control to keep her lip zipped, and so much love to go around... enough for six kids.

seems I felt stretched thin just with my 3, and with exBF's DD I felt as stretched as taffy.

dunno HOW my mom did it, but I keep her in mind whenever I feel like yapping.

it may not STOP me, but at least it somewhat modulates the flow of verbiage.

Went to the Christmas bizarre this morning. The only thing I bought was a few cookies. Went out with a friend for breakfast before and had french toast and bacon. It is getting really cold and windy here; it rained all night but they all talking about sleet and snow. I am staying home for the rest of the day.

I did not hear back from my neuro's to set up appt in St. Louis. If I can't get in during Thanksgiving week or finals weeks, I will just wait until after the 1st of of year. I will be going back to Ohio for the holidays.

Sandy, Your dinner last night sounded really good until you mentioned brussel sprouts. YUCK! LOL!

Jenn, Hope the snow misses both of us. Do you think you are going to be around on December 18th? Right now I am planning on staying over the night in Polaris then. I will probably get there late afternoon if I leave on time and the weather cooperates.

TK, Sorry aobut the muscle spasms. I am lucky in that they rarely bother me at night. Knock on wood or my head.:eek: Take it easy today. I think I may get out my beads and work on a few bracelets for Christmas.

Yes FRANK....last night I almost attacked cleaned house...then said NO...take time to rest....glad....I said NO....

I went to work today, that went alright...some cogfog slowed me down..but I am such a fast worker that I wasnt too slow hehehehe also sold 51 hands for the Ronald McDonald house...if you ask each customer...it adds up....one crew didnt believe me..I was like hey we can print up the sales..lol...she was just surprised...but you gotta ask everyone and take the nos with a thank you along with the yeses....hehe

well just chilling now..my right leg although numbness went away..once got the prednisone going...it is stiffness and stuff going on...but I feel so much better.....hmmmmmm prednisone helps my flare...hmmmmm lol...just teasing about my undx body....and all the meds I take that are common with neuro problems and dxes...hehehehe

hugss all....didnt read yet too much...so sorry no personals....snow is flying..so still feeling blah due to humidity..but this med is good and love the neurontin too....lol....drug me up baby....(just kidding cause I am so not a medicine taker...but learning to take what my body needs)

I'm nursing a UTI myself, on my second antibiotic after having an allergic reaction to the first one. Today I feel better so far.

The house is a mess so I should get up and do something. I need to balance my checkbook and do paperwork too.

I slept a lot the last two nights so that was good. I'm staying in for the weekend thinking my resistance might be down after being pretty sick Thursday and Friday.

I keep you all in my prayers, say a special one for my forum friends when we go to church on the weekend. :grouphug:

The weather is cold here and I think there's a chance of snow this weekend.

We're having Papa Murphy's pizza tonight. You pick up a freshly made pizza, bring it home and pop it in the oven. They cost less and they have some awesome combinations. We like the gourmet vegetarian with the garlic sauce, YUM. :Starvin:

I was gonna do some errands tonight, but hubby had to take my van...I was gonna take his car later..but he accidentally has both sets of keys..you know 40 now agee...hehehehe (his car sometimes does the antitheft stuff where it cuts out the engine for 15min ugggg so that is why he jumped into my van)

oh well, lucky me can forget errands..and relax with the youngest two ...wow I gotta watch kids..hehehe my 15 year old is at friends and going cyber bowling tonight, then my 13 year old and 9 year old both have a sleepover they went to tonight...ahhhh I am out of baby helpers...so now it is I and the two wittle ones...help hehe) lucky for me that prednisone has me hopping.....
