Mornin' everyone!

We're waiting for a tow truck to come and pickup Matt's car (his personal car). It's had this same problem before and it was doing the overheating thing again last night. It's a 2005 and still under warranty so that's good. We'll follow the tow truck up to the dealership where they will give him a loaner car. Depending on what he gets I may suggest he leave the loaner with me and take Kevin's truck :D. Kevin has my car and is spending the weekend at Jessica's house. We play musical cars alot here!! :p

The rain has finally stopped and it's sunny but cold this morning. And soooo windy! Bad hair day today!!

I need to go to the grocery store but will probably wait to see what coupons are in the Sunday paper. We get a free paper with our cable subscription so I look forward to Sunday's paper 'cos of the coupons.

Thanks for the update Renee'......I don't think I'd mind going to work everyday at a place like that!! I like the "bad boy" look, too. My DH looked sorta mean but was gentle as a kitten (he would NOT want me giving that info out!! :o).

Sarah, I'm glad the Prednisone is helping you. I get the energy rush with steroids but they just tear me up inside so I don't take them. Tell hubby Happy Birthday!

Barb, I've seen the previews for that movie and it looks good but you just never know till you get there. I'm not a big Angeline Jolee fan so I'll probably skip this particular one. I do want to see Australia, though.

Okay....Matt has been in the shower now going on 25 minutes. I have a timer in there so they don't waste water but apparently it's either a) broken or b) forgotten about. I think it's "b". Gotta have a talk with him.....money doesn't grow on trees ya know! OMG....I'm my mother!! :eek: :o

Sarah - Glad you are enjoying the prednisone high. LOL I hope it helps with the symptoms you have been having. BTW - I am one of the unlucky ones that gets the opposite reaction to prednisone - it makes the fatigue worse, I feel worse, and I sleep all the time.

Update: Not doing much today. I had a rough night with spasms waking me up and am so sore this morning. Will be heading in for a Epsom salt bath soon and then getting some house work done.

MY YPDATE: STill very sore from my exam on Thurs.:confused::( If

Its not helping that I came down with a cold and am coughing like a
maniac. I think the coughing is irritating my problem.:( I m trying to
rest while my oldest is at work and dh has the little ones(some day soon
I will have to stop calling them that)at basketball.

Morning all. I'm cleaning today. Jim fell asleep on me last night. We think the valium may be too much in the afternoon so we'll drop that dose and see how he does. Otherwise it's working great! He feels sleepy, real sleepy at about 8pm and that's not his norm. His arms also feel very weak so we're pretty sure it's the valium. The doc said to pay attention to this type of side effect. Oh and did I mention the full leg and arm massage he got last night? I think he liked that. haha

I'm waiting on my contractor to come by and borrow me a 1/2 inch Allen wrench to see if I can raise Jim's backup wheelchair seat.

Sarah, glad to hear the meds are working.

Weave, I'm praying for you to get that job.

Kelly, hope they fix Matt's car quickly. Go get em momma about the shower. What do they do in there, fall alseep? lol

Jenn, the wind is howling here and the temps are dropping. YUCK.

LOL....I asked him if he was shaving his legs 'cos it doesn't even take me that long to do everything I have to do in the shower (more upkeep for me, ya know.....:o). He said no....just standing under the hot water. :mad: :mad: I can fix that.....all it takes is a few well timed toilet flushes!! :p

We got a rental car.....a Ford Edge (it's considered a "crossover" vehicle.....sort of a mix of a car and a SUV). Matt is using Kevin's truck today, Kevin has my Honda so I get to drive the new car!! I really like it. :D
