Good morning all...sluffing church...I really forgot to set my alarm. People will wonder if I've had a sef back...my kids will look at each other and wonder...

It acturally felt good...I'll read something religious to make up for it. It is realy quite odd for me to not go to church.

Today we are slow cooking...I call it slow torture, they have to smell it all day long, mean Mama. I am make a cake that will knock your sock off. No real name for it...just the best sheet cake ever. My kids just say Mom made that cake that puts you in a coma. Lots of chocolate and too much butter to talk about!!

the villagers who have seen me put basura (garbage) in the fridge, well, they think I'm a leetle loco en la cabeza!

but it works... because I hardly have to BUY any food for my animals, just scrounge up enough vegetable waste, and parcel it out efficiently.

they forgive my "craziness" after they see how happy my critters are, and TASTE my well-fed roasted chickens and ducks, LOL !!

the joke around the village is that I make meat from garbage... (cree la carne de la basura)

I also have large screened racks outdoors, where I put all the cabbage leaves, and throw a big piece of "shade cloth" over the top, so the leaves stay fresh, for 3 or 4 days.
