Hey Fin~ I saw OH on the news! Your state got majorly dumped on w/snow. It was hard to see the poor newsman out there in it reporting. ACK!!!

Well, Matt was in the water, but then got on a boat and of course, they are only going to show the beauty of it all. They are talking about the coral reefs and how the weather is affecting them. Matt said something about smelling bacon cooking??? Is he coming for breakfast??

My Update: put in a call to my gyno.....just waiting. I have a lot to
do as I have been idle all weekend.

Im going grocery shopping and then playing catch up until the kids get
home. Then I am babysitting for a couple extra kids until 8:30. wish me
luck....Im still pretty sore.

So what is new with me. Hmm. Well I still need to make an appointment I'd rather not make. I know it is only legal advice but it feels more like funeral arrangements for a fast approaching end.

DH is so busy with other things no more moving out has taken place. Apparently our pastor/ counselor thinks it is time for us to progress to the next level whatever that is. (Just to recap- DH says he wants a divorce when our youngest child graduates from high school six years from now. DH has started to move to our daylight basement dividing the house into two apartments.)

I have applied for a part time job close to home. I doubt I will get it. It took me forever to fill out the application and I had to get some information from home just to finish it. I was totally unprepared for some of the questions and had to really wrack my brain for some of the answers. So embarrassing! I was told I'd be called for an interview. I highly doubt I will be able to redeem myself at all though. Well just filling out the application has taught me a lot for the next time.

DD's homeschool co-op did a Thanksgiving concert this year. She was part of a girls ensemble. They sang three songs and she had a two line solo during the last song. I got very emotional during the morning dress rehearsal. I was able to see her through the tears during the concert but just barely. I am so very proud of her! And she sounded great too. She said she was nervous during the rehearsal but not the concert.

Both kids have started piano lessons. DS needs the most help at home which I am able to do for now. Trying to work with a him is a real challenge though as he would rather do/ learn something else.

Must get **** in gear here and get moving.

Just popping in with a quick note on Baclofen for Debbie and Tricia. When I started taking it, they started me @ 5 mg three times per day. For the first week, I felt stoned most of the time, but my body adjusted to it. Every time I have increased in dose now, I don't feel anything. It is a wonder drug for me, but it took some patience in the beginning to get used to it. Now I can take 80 mg per day and not be groggy at all!!

Sox, Sorry to hear you're still sore. Hope the docs can help ya out.

Weave, Glad your DD did so well at the concert. Bragging rights are totally cool to hear. Hope things will work out for ya.

DM, The major snow dumped north of us. We're far enough from the great lakes that we usually get a lot less than they do. Though every once in awhile Mother Nature does change her mind.

Got a doc's appointment tomorrow afternoon. Yep, bit the bullet and called my GP. The fun stuff is this could be MS related, a flare up of the endo, or none of the above. Don't you love it when there's 15 million possibilities? So I'm hoping he can help me out and point me in the right direction.

Just a quick break before my next bit of puttering around and on the last cup of heavenly coffee. Unless I make another pot, LOL!

hey Kelly, DM & Jenn ... I watched the last 10 or so laps, too ... I was pulling for Matt Kenseth (he's from Wisconsin, ya know!!) ... then he runs outta gas!! but did you hear that Carl did right before he crossed the finish line!! too cool .. I love his back-flip ... and I like Jimmie Johnson - he's such a cool-headed guy!!

have to work on some class stuff - the quiz went well, finally took it yesterday ... have a paper due this week - not going to wait until the weekend this time ... there's an art show or two I'm going to check out (one will have my art in) ..

that's about it .. and organizing more stuff - emptied out most of the car last night (just one cart-load and Roxanne) ... now to make room!!
