The neuro told me that the most recent US patient with Tysabri has died. :( I asked him about the others from overseas, if any of them were functioning well and he said no, he didn't think so. He said that PML isn't something you really recover from. I was thinking today that if I have to go off the Ty I'd probably go back to Avonex and the harpoon, lol.

I read about something similar the other day but I think this guy was in Europe. I know in the article that they said it may be more beneficial to patients on Ty to take a Ty "holiday" from time to time to rebuild the protective immune systems (so to speak) around the brain. It was an interesting article.

Ty has some great benefits, yet with DDs still needing a mom right now, I won't do it. The C seems to be working for me. I get the results of my newest MRI on Monday and I am hoping that this remains true and that the flares I have had this past year are just re inflammation of old lesions.

Sandy, I know I'd feel guilty too. But also remember this is a blessing that both you and Jim need. It is a gift, and it also came during the holiday season. What a wonderful present for you both!

Sox, :hug::hug:

Sarah, I loved reading about the stuff you guys are doing for the holidays. The joy of the season is coming through your post. Plus, where is your McD's??? I want free cookies, lol. ;)

Vonn, we can be wobble buddies today, lol. I made myself take a slug day today after the massive cleaning burst from yesterday took me down a notch. Rest up and feel better soon.:hug:

Wiz, Glad today went better for ya. I've also read about the PML case today. :( Been praying for their family. Makes me hesitant for it being the next step when the C stops working since me and meds have such fun times together.

Trish, keeping fingers crossed for the MRI results.

ahhhhhhhhhhh... so tired!

today was a plucking party, and we did six birds, with ten more to go, to fill an order for an restaurant.

I feel like I could sleep for a week.... because I didn't get a nap today.

Kell, I don't feel very Christmassy either, it's hard with family far away, or passed away...

Oh Sandy and Jim that is wonderful....dont feel funny..you just feel that way casue you are a giver not a taker..and accepting this is not taking...it is something he needs..and will help....hugssssss

baking again haha the choco chip...white choco green and red swirl chips...hmmmmm

oh who asked, fin...my mcds now is in a walmart....so I have some surprised shoppers with a yummy break if they come in for food.....

I am sad that noone took on the tradition at my old store...

glad the kids werent making cookies in the last two nights...as my 13 year old is fast asleep..she said her tummy was hurting...fell asleep..soon I gotta recheck on her....and then the littliest Maddie...is acting fine...but wehhhhhh yeeehooaaaaa you dont want to be here for her last two diaper changes....:eek::eek: if you get my drift...so think her tummy is achey too...:( hoping they are both ok...

my mom is in bed, first she had a cold like me, now tons of nausea...and my dad was in bed too....congestion and such..with his age...I better keep eye on his congestion. He is not the type to get to drs...but is 76 now....not saying that is old anyone!! but since he is always healthy..and then doesnt do the doctors much, dont want his to get worse with congestion wise...

gotta run...ewwwwww..maybe wake hubby from his early night nappy...to change it...hehe no he didnt sleep last night. I am feeling bad for him..having trouble with sleeping..adn some of it...I think is due to his worry about my pains in night..that I dotn even wake to....

hugss to all, keep up the holiday cheer...hugsss and much love, sarah
