Welp, day started out with me turning off the arlam and going back to sleep.

7:30...Monkey is running around trying to get 2 sleepy kids up. GrandMonkey was no problem. Lil'Monkey was worn out from her late B-Ball game. We left her home to shower, while I took the little guy to school.

I dun good. Got him to school by 8am. Back home and picked her up and to her school by 8:15.

Frank...can I have a cup of coffee?

hey Tricia ...

confess and believe in positive thoughts about taking and passing classes ... and it may take some extra time to refresh ... but you will be 'retraining' your mind to rethink .. and since I went back (a year ago september) ... I may not have instant recall, but I do remember after a bit of thinking ...

it works - think positive ... there is a chemical within the brain that blossoms on the positive and thorns that develop when thinking negative ... it will take time for the positive thoughts to conquor negative thinking (in 4 days, you'll see a difference .. and in 21 days - it will be a new habit) ...

sorry - didn't mean to preach ...

Morning! Busy busy people on this board! I read it all and can take the test if you choose to challenge me. haha

Frank, the back roads are fine to take. Not sure if it cuts off time with the snow but go for it! I do that route sometimes too.

I am about to get Jim going and in the shower. Then my shower, then snow blow. We got more than an inch so be careful.

I finished the bills and kitchen table last night. I had a ton of junk mail. I hate junk mail with a passion. Especially those store catalogs like Harriet Carter that you find yourself going through for 30 minutes before you realize you were only supposed to take the inside order form out. Ugh

Everyone have a good day, think positive, stay warm and safe.

LOL, Silly Girl! You are not preaching at all. For now, these two classes are ones that I will be recalling old information I already have from nursing school, working in the health care industry, art classes as well as experience. The information will be presented in a new way.

I read all the time on the internet and books but being in an environment that the new information is presented, discussed, etc. will be awesome. I can't discuss medical ethics, science, medical technology, etc. with my computer. LOL.

All in all, I am looking forward to this "new" yet old experience.

Frank? I didn't tell anyone what my goal was for the year so how did you know it is to organize my life in preparation for solitude? Where's the camera/s hiding?

Taking life one day at a time 'cause I can't handle much more than that right now. DH's warm fuzzies (like last night's I'm here and fine phone call) are nice but I try hard to keep it all in proper perspective. That means the warm fuzzy feeling ends the moment the event does. (Hang up phone, quick thank you Lord, warm fuzzy feeling gone.) My heart and sanity are not toys. Especially his!! He just might get the ol' decide what you want and if it includes me you know where to find me routine.

And stuff hanging in there! I'm swinging through the treetops while I can. I know it is only a matter of time before the walls of my little world come tumbling down around me again. When that happens then I'll hang onto something sturdy for dear life. Until then I'm gonna bask in the warm sunlight of whatever it is I got right now.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Burned a ton of sunlight already and don't really have anything to show for it. Well I do but I can't check it off the to do list. Time to prioritize today's to do list and attack it.
MY UPDATE: well, kids are out of school....Im a little sore, took a spill
yesterday and landed on my lower back/hip.
I am gonna just chill with the little ones maybe doing some crafts. I love doing crafts with the kids and their friends. I find all kinds of stuff on clearance and we have a ball. The bottom of my closet is full(and I mean full) of cool stuff. lol
Oh, I got a coffee maker yesterday. My old one was a Cuisinart thermal pot
a top of the line Mr. Coffee that was a floor model...get this regularly 65.00
got it for 6.50......yay...it works great.
thats about it..............Happy Wednesday everyone!!!!!
You got a screaming deal yesterday! That is awesome.
Have fun with the kids today doing crafts and such. I love doing that kind of stuff with my little nieces and nephews. I love seeing how their little minds work and how the creativity just flows. They don't have the "obstacles" that we adults seem to create in ourselves.
good for you, Tricia ... I have to 'self-talk' positive to myself daily to continue to have simple joy ... and just one day at a time - I've sang the song for over 30 years ... and yet, I put it off for a very long time - it took this dx to calm me down and to cherish the moments ... everyday, a new beginning!!
**p.s. smarty-pants!!**
Sox- We got some ice overnight but it turned to rain by sunrise I think. Most public schools opened at regular time while private schools had two hour delays. The rain has stopped now but it is cloudy and cold so roads may refreeze during the night.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Raise your hand if you are ready for spring! I sure am!!!

Managed to get a few things checked off the to do list. What else can get checked off before piano lessons and youth group tonight? Hmm...
