I'm back . . . !

Oh man! It is going to take me days to catch up with you all. I haven't read everyone's posts. I'm just going to start anew.

We had a great time traveling over the New Year's Holiday. The motorhome worked great and it was good to see friends and family.

Unfortunately, it is now time to get back in to daily living.

It is amazing what a job, lots of reflective time, and a new attitude can do though. (Don't depend on someone else for your happiness. Create you own!)

Huge thanks to the whole gang for holding my hand through my rough months. I'm still in hope for the best but prepare for the worst mode. I am however more stable and focused now personally so that helps take the edge off the pain.

Hey, Tricia! Glad you're back! I'm so happy you had fun.....I've never traveled in a motorhome but it sounds like such fun. Did you get any pics from your road trip? Did you get to see Twink while she was visiting her DD?

OK....I'm debating whether or not to go out in this rainy mess to the store. There are a few items I need that can't wait till later in the week. Oh well, I certainly won't melt....

I placed a call to my attorney this morning to see about getting my POA and Will updated. Last time I had it done was May of 2005 and lots has changed since then. MS decided to join me and both of my boys are over 21 now. I also made some other decisions but, in keeping with the lighthearted nature of this thread, I will keep those to myself right now. They're good ones, though.

Weave - I am really, really happy for you. Keep up the great attitude! You are right - only you can make yourself happy. People can add to your happiness but they can't make you happy.

Kelly - Traveling in a motorhome is great! I can move around and don't get stiff and sore. We took DBF's cat (and dog) with us and for part of the trip I cuddled on the bed with the cat to keep her calm. She hid under the blankets and pushed her little body up to mine. Too cute.

No, I didn't get to see Twink. We were going to have lunch on Saturday but it didn't work out. Maybe when she gets back from her big adventure.

You can't miss her.....she'll be the striped one (she has a thread about her "tan)!!

to all Ive missed, Im sorry.......I want to leave you hugs.

MYUPDATE: aaaaaaaaahh...its quiet here.lol the kids had a two hour
delay for the their first day back but its very quiet now.

Need to play catch up around the house and have to call gyno to schedule
testing for surgery. I think I will feel better so its a good thing really.

Its been a crazy two weeks and am looking foreward to it slowing down.

DH and I are back on South Beach...or close to it...going to Hawaii in 10 weeks, and the way we look, people are going to point us out as beached whales... I'm sick to death of sweets and wine anyway...and I need to take care of myself...but the South Beach diet is so hard the first two weeks...and after perusing the Swank Diet for MSers, it doesn't sound very healthy for me...so I'm just going to really watch what I eat, and watch how much. Also need to get out and work out every day...been really lazy about that.

Morning all! Sitting here relaxing after rushing the old enough boys to their dental appointments. Sheesh, you'd think they'd know to set and alarm and take a shower at their age? LOL

I am going to work on bills today and maybe a clean up of decs if those stupid bins ever get here! I need to also call the Ramp Up people and see if they got my email about signing up at Ebay charities so I can donate some of the money from the stair lift to them. Anyone need a stair lift in my area?
