I just follow my nose. It always knows. The smell of choccy and brownies is such a wonderful thing!
Hoot! Hoot! Hey, night owl! Imagine you being up this late. Do you never sleep? I was up until 10:00 a.m. this morning, then slept on the couch 'til four. It's been that way lately. How's the exercise business doing? Still washing all those towels at home? It's nice to find this cool new branch to roost on! Roost? Maybe I'm a rooster instead of an owl! |

the new club is doing great! so great that i have atleast 4 loads of towels everyday. hmmm...heavy wet towels...bend and twist to put them in the dryer... sheesh...
ok...i wanna trade sleep patterns with you for just 1 day. lol. i get the 2 hours of sleep and wake up with a screaming back. wide awake again for a few hours. i'm averaging about 4 hours. it's just all so odd. i have had sore..torn..hurt muscles for years and years. no biggy. apply heat, then cold, then rest it, stretch it and it heals. but this bone stuff...it's so different. nothing makes the pain go away. ok...so a brownie and nice mug of hazelnut coffee do. so you the head rooster now huh? keep all us chickens in line? wait...i'm a monkey. i think this is going to be a very nice branch to hang out on. |

It's tomorrow now, Curious. You're supposed to be feeling better! What's causing your bone pain? I don't like the sound of that...
Sounds to me like you're pretty stubborn about overdoing it a lot! And maybe just a tad bit hyper-active? You gotta sit down while you drink that cup of hazelnut. Didn't you know that? What I hate is being up all night, and then sleeping all day. It's hard to play incognito when there's nobody else around. Then I can't fool anyone but myself, and that's never been a challenge. Did you finally get the move completely finished? And the computer? As I remember it, that was giving you a bit of a fit for a while. Now that you're growing cocoa (it ain't coca is it? ) in your back yard, and teaching grandmonkeys how to roll, you gotta slack off a little at work. I know, it's hard to do when your the boss of a small business, but hey! Give it a try! I've been going through a whole pee-pot full of medical tests over the last few months, but they still ain't diagnosed me yet. They're gonna cut me open in a few weeks for a look-see, and if that doesn't pan gold I'll be SOL for another year. Insurance will start refusing to pay for any more tests until then. Guess what? Our local PBS station starting showing a new Curious George series last week! Is that you running around with that man in the yellow raincoat? |

i thought i'd wait to post back...make sure you were awake.
i have spondylolisthesis from an injury. (age 12... 30 years ago) the slippage has progressed. i'm sure from working at home and not working out as much as i always have. beleive me...i'm a disciplined person when it comes to working out, but doing it at home is not the same as going to the club. could this be like the mechanic who fixes others cars and his wifes makes a noise? hehehe what tests are they going to do? oh man...look at your innards? well, they are going to find out you are wonderful inside and out! howz that for being a friend? i really really hope that non-invasive test will find your answer. well of course that is me on pbs! every afternoon at 4pm and sometimes in the morning. grandmonkey is 4. the episode where cg ate the puzzle piece nd had to go to the hospital really hit home with him. guess what my little monkey pulled out of his mouth while we were watching? |

Make sure I was awake? Shoot, Curious, you know me better than that. I was dead on the couch at 12:37 PM. I'm a Night Owl, remember?!? I fell asleep at about nine-thirty this morning and woke up around four.
What is spondylolisthesis? Boy what a word! I've heard you mention it before, but I never really understood it much. You say it comes from an old injury? Is the pain like inside the bone, or more in the joints and cartilege? My condition, whatever it is, causes me sharp pain in the left side of my abdomen. It feels like somebody stabbed me in the left side and the knife blade broke off in there. Then of course after years of pain the fibro and other stuff sets in, and I'm just SOL. But thanks for that wonderful compliment! You really are a good friend. It's not just mechanic's wives who have noisy cars. Ever notice that so many mechanics drive the crappiest cars? I've never owned a new car in my life. I always bought them old and broken, then fixed them up in my shop. It has saved me a ton of money over the years, I can tell you. I watch Curious George with my little girl. She's ten, and it's new to her, but she's starting to really like it. She just thinks it's weird that I get into the show so much. She'd probably flip out if she ever saw me watch George of the Jungle! What is it with these Georges that I find so entertaining? I hope you're feeling better today. Did ya get any shuteye at all last night? Gotta keep up that energy for the grandmonkeys, right? Take care Curious... |
