Hi Judy and Kicker:

Let's say you want to buy some vitamins from iherb.com. You first go to google.com, and type in Promotion Codes for Iherb.com (do it and you'll see what I mean). Lots of sites will come up. These sites will give you numbers. You fine the ones that work. You write down the number.

You then go to iherb.com and when you select whatever you are buying, you'll go to checkout, and somewhere on this page (EVERY CHECKOUT HAS THIS OPTION), look around the screen and you'll see something like "promotion code or....coupon code".

You type in the number and when you are ready to submit the order, you'll get a discount. Might be $5.00, 10%, whatever!!!

Do this with absolutely everything BEFORE YOU CHECKOUT.

I have done this with iherb (usually only works with the first order),

I did it with overstock.com too!!

Good Luck.

Melody

I need to remember to use them more often -
there's so many to choose from and some might be expired - but you keep trying the codes until one works.

a listing promo codes sites -
http://www.google.com/#q=promo+codes...fp=OlAWEoQSgPM

some you can copy/paste, and some will be clickable -and take you to the website?? { some sites/coupons will work better if using IE instead of Firefox,
I just found that out the other day.}

WELL IT CAME TODAY (TODAY IS MY 29TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY), only we couldn't go anywhere because we had to wait all day for the UPS guy to come.

We'll go out on Sunday and combine Mom's day with our anniversary.

Anyway, this little beauty looks exactly like my original Sharp, only it's half the size. I said "wow, a mini Sharp"

I thought the inside would light up when the door is opened but it only lights up when in use. It says so in the manual and that's exactly what happened.

And the digital time thing, does not light up. My other one didn't light up either. I kind of wished this one would and I thought it would. It's like when you walk into the kitchen and you see the time and you have to go over to it to see exactly what time it says.

All my previous micros (except for these two Sharps), always had the time display lit.

Oh well, it's not a big thing. It does what it's supposed to do and for $69.95 minus the promotional code, I believe I got an exceptional deal.

HAPPY MICROWAVING EVERYBODY!!!

lol

Thumbs down

I hear what you are saying about not lighting up with the time or when it's in use. I hate that and the next time I will get one that does. That is what I had before and it really is irritating that it doesn't.

Mine isn't really really small but it's small. The size is fine but that lighting business (lack of) is not good Oh well, next time I'll read and look at it better. I still will not have to pay a big price for one that does though.

I wonder why they make microwaves that only light up when you are heating up something? And why does the display thing not have a backlight.

In the past, ALL the other microwaves I owned had both the backlight on the display and the light went on when you opened up the door.

You should have seen my face yesterday, after I plugged in the microwave and opened the door AND THERE WAS NO LIGHT!!!

I said "uh oh, this thing doesn't work???" I then put in a cup of water and pressed the minute plus thing (that's the main difference between my older Sharp and this new little one.) The other one had a minute button.

This one, well the START button is the MINUTE BUTTON. Underneath the word START, it says minute-plus.

I was reading the manual trying to find the minute button and that's how I learned to look at the START button.

And then when I decided to try and boil some water, I was happy that the light went on. I then went to the manual and it said "the light will only go on when the unit is operating".

Oh well, at least it works fine and I'm satisifed.

Oh, I have a question (and it's a good question.

Will this microwave use LESS electricity than the bigger one?

They are both 800 watts, but this one is half the size.

I'd really like to know the answer.
