Default CDR-reviews and new conditions/illness

My husband is already on SSDI for Epilepsy and Reactive Arthritis. For the past few months his stomach has been bothering him, so long story short he was just diagnosed with Irritable Bowel and Diverticulosis. The doctor prescibed 2 more meds.

My question is- Do we ( those on SSDI ) call and tell SSA about new conditions now? Or should my husband just wait until his CDR and say his condtion/health is worse? When you say worse, does that trigger a long form?

Any info would be great!

Hope you all are well!!
