Ya know, besides coming here? Like in the real world...

Just curious, I don't want to get on to much of a soapbox about the topic but I am a firm believer in professional help and there is such a stigma against it, which is such a shame.

There is help, there is hope.

That's true, and it's one of the major reasons why I haven't gotten help yet.

in the past when i first noticed it i did'nt think i needed it.

when it was upon me i didn;t know who to ask to get it.

when it happended, i was offered some but not a lot of it.

when it crept up again i was to embarressed to seek it

when it was consuming me i have no recollection if i needed it or didn't need it.

now i understand it.

i ask for it when i need it.

Im no longer ashamed to ask for it

thefore i accept it.

How very timely, I made an appointment today.

Why I don't get help...

I think I can defeat it by myself...

I can't find the energy to go out.... and to get the help for it

Right now my mom's death and a personal relationship breakup are overwhelming me with sadness and despair... I often think maybe I should be living anymore... its so much work...

And no reason NOT to do it, there was absolutely none.
But in vital matters such as this, the thing you have to ask
Is WHO exactly will it be who...
' will carry OUT this task.
ANYBODY could have told you that EVERYBODY knew
That this was something SOMEBODY would surely have to do.
NOBODY was unwilling. ANYBODY had the ability.
But NOBODY belied that it was his responsiblity.
It seemd to be a job that ANYBODY could have done,
If ANYBODY thought he was supposed to be the one.
But since EVERYBODY recognized that ANYBODY could,
EVERYBODY took for granted that SOMEBODY would.
But NOBODY told ANYBODY that we are aware of,
That he would be in charge of seeing it was taken care of.
And NOBODY took it on himself to follow through and DO
What EVERYBODY thought that SOMEBODY would do.
When what EVERBODY neede so did not get done at all.
EVERYBODY was complaining that SOMEBODY dropped the ball.
ANYBODY then could see it was an awful crying shame,
And EVERYBODY looked around for SOMEBODY to blame.
SOMEBODY should have done the job and EVERYBODY would have,
But in the end NOBODY did what ANYBODY could have.



We all know when we need help [most of the time] but its that asking...............for help ...............that for some reason can bring out the quivering wreck inside us all.................[throw in depression ............you then have confusion upon confusion...........and you become like a hamster on a wheel going round and round....and cannot get off the wheel]

If as an outsider you think someone needs help, offer it.........or get it for that person.....
If it turns out they didnt want it...........so be it.................[they might fall out with you?????.................its ok though........you may have sown a seed of hope that someone cares.....which may lead them to ASK FOR HELP]

I've tried to get professional help and everything that has happened just made me feel like an animal at the zoo. everyone trying to call the shots and tell me 'what's best for me' regardless of how I actually feel. I don't want to keep having to re-explain everything I've dealt with/gone through especially when whatever I say doesn't matter to any of them in the first place.
