Right now all I've got is some ibuprofen and Tylenol, and some Baclofen and Flexeril....oh and a little bit of Midrin (migraine med that has Tylenol and some other pain killer mixed with it) I've got some Neurontin too.

Not quite sure what mixture of all that will help my sore neck and the funky sensations in my right arm (and now my right hand...argh!) I'm guessing the sprained neck is what's triggering my new symptoms now...they're all on the same side as the pain from the sprain. (hopefully it's MS symptoms and not the result of tearing something in my neck...I'd rather it be something MS-ish than something that might need invasive/surgical help to fix)

I wonder what magical mixture of all those various meds will help the burning that's starting in my legs today, AND help the neurological itching and pain that I've got going on in the back of my head and on side of my head. (the itch feels like something is burning a hole in the side of my skull...aaaRRrrrggggh!!!)

My right ear was really numb yesterday and itching, but today it's not as numb and it quit itching, so that's good.

My dad has been teasing me now on how delicate it appears I am that just lifting a plastic tote that only weighs about 20 pounds can hurt me. I lifted that tote and others dozens of times in the past month or two and never even felt a twinge. Now it's been 3weeks since I hurt my neck, and I'm feeling worse than I did before I hurt myself.

The treatment for sprains, this far out is moist heat....I'd love to put some moist heat on my neck right now...only problem is the whole heat-makes-MS-symptoms-feel-worse thing...

I may just do the moist heat anyways and just deal with being more numb...or go outside and stand in the 40mph north winds coming off the lake to cool down. (Brrrrr!)

ARGH I know the heat thing. The docs recommended moist heat for the uterus spasms which made my back flare... sucks.

Neurontin should help with the tingly arm... but it won't do jack squat for the neck. Baclofen *might* help with the neck, but the only thing I have found it useful for is the spasms, but not the ones in my back...

nothing seems to help the back other than chiropractic and on the rare occassions I can talk someone into a massage. I have a friend who is a massage instructor... problem is the 50 mile hike to her house and then the 50 miles back kind of defeatthe whole purpose. And being as I am STILL waiting to get denied again for disability I can't afford a local one.

Some days you just can't win I tell ya.

My boyfriend would cheerfully massage my back, problem with that is, he lives about 50 miles from me, so I only get to see him on weekends. And right now, he's working in the call center of a famous retail store that sells sporting goods. So, I dont think I'll be seeing him until sometime in January.

I'm feeling the numbness creep down my arm. This is really creeping me out. It's my right arm, which is the arm I use for most important things. I'd like it to stay in perfect working order. Hoping it doesnt end up as bad as my left arm is right now. (pinky, ring and index fingers are fairly numb, and sometimes I can barely type or crochet or knit)

One of my worst nightmares seems to be creeping up on me slowly right now. I want the numbness to go away and I'm hoping it wont get any worse than the mild tingle that's going on right now.

Seems like in the left arm, whatever is going on there is affecting the ulnar nerve or some of the medial nerve. The numbness in the right arm feels like it's coming down the radial nerve.. This REALLY sucks!

Oh, and I have a weird pain in my neck close to the lymph glands. Pain goes around the back of my neck to the back of my head, and into my ear and jaw. That pain never seems to go away, especially at the back of my head. It's almost more irritating than a migraine, but it's not the same quality of pain as a migraine. Just painful enough to be really annoying.

Again, this really sucks!

Did you make that pomegranate champagne? Wanna mail me a couple of envelopes of that? (Oooo...I have a bottle of sparkling rose' wine upstairs. Tasty stuff, and it's got an actual cork to pop and isnt a cheapy screw-off cap. I could go chugg...errr...drink some of that! So what if it's for Xmas dinner, it might need to be checked for quality!)
