Wow. I don't even know what else to say Cindy. Well, I do know what to say but can't say it here .

I'm so sorry you're dealing with all of this incompetence! I've been having my share of problems with my landlord and this carpy house I'm living in. My family room (where the tv is) is 84 degrees with a/c set on 77! I feel for ya!

It's great that you're able to advocate for the other residents . I hope things get straightened out for you sooner rather than later.

You straighten them out sister! I'm glad you've found the good side of this situation, you'll turn things around 180 degrees before you finish with them. Those other residents are blessed to have you there!

YooHoo, Cindybelle, I hates to mention it, but Earl, the heathen, is bearing down on you!! Are you ready??

I hope you're far enough inland to escape his rath. Wouldn't you know it, the one hurricane heading toward you, is your friend Earl.

No problem, Sal, I'm far enough inland that Earl is impotent around here.

Oh, no! Not mold! Still! I am glad you are safe in a motel while this problem gets resolved. It never ends... as 'they' say. Right now you are not a happy camper, for sure. Better days will come and that too will be solved. It is good that you have a lawyer.

Sorry about your computer. Why do problems have to occur together? Or ...at all for that matter.

Thanks, dits, it's just one of those rough patches in an otherwise truly charmed life. I don't deal well with incompetent, inept people and the tremendous heat down here has not made it any easier.

The humidity went way down over the weekend, it was like a miracle. I was finally able to begin unpacking and putting things away in the new kitchen with one (1) whopping 8" drawer.

I'm not thrilled with this place (can't be done) but I'm getting it to a point where it will be at least adequate to wait for the next, much, enormously, exponentially better thing that God is going to provide me.

In the meantime, my new laundry machines are running, I managed to open three windows after profound cleaning and lubricating of the wildly cheap and poorly installed tracks, I finally found my beloved Flavacol so I can make some decent popcorn, and my favorite dingbat is in town so I'll soon have a target on which to vent my frustration and furious, violent tendencies.

Life is improving.

P.S. I also found the booze.
