Default Emergency Broadcast Alerts

I've noticed recently.....probably because my TV seems to always be on in the background.....that there are more Emergency Broadcast Alerts being aired. We just had another one. They aren't long - just those annoying beeps that interrupt local programming. My question is why are there so many of them now and has anyone else noticed this? It happens a few times a day everyday here.

Wow, that's a lot! We don't watch local programing often, so I actually haven't seen one in... years I think. Are they just the tests? I'm sure that has to be irritating.

If their not tests, they could be going off for amber alerts and all kinds of things.

They're just tests. Just had another one a few minutes ago. That makes 4 just this morning! Makes me think there might be something going on that we're not being told about. I might just be jumpy still from the horrible news of this weekend. We usually get the emergency tests once a month......but 4 in one morning??

I haven't noticed any local station alerts, but The National alert tests are about once a week.

Are you expecting a snow storm in GA?

No, just rain tomorrow. Who knows what it could be. Nothing much surprises me anymore.

Are you sure you're not hearing an advertisement for used cars?!

LOL! We do have some obnoxious car commercials here. We haven't had a test today so I'm not sure what was going on yesterday.
