The guy from Australia is still on He has a good voice and very easy to look at!

Reunion show from Project Runway was interesting. For one thing I think it is the only reality show that has a reunion show before the winner is picked. I am one that doesn't like Christain. I don't like his designs or his attitude so I was suprised that he was given the audience vote $10,000. But as far as fashion week, I'm sure he has a good chance to win it. I guess since I am sitting here in my stone washed stretch denims and 2003 Old navy t-shirt, you can tell that it doesn't matter to me waht goes on in fashion week.

There will be the usual cat fight dramas on Amerias next top model. There were some real fights on the audtion show. One of the models is this mousy looking I don't care what anyone thinks of me girl and then most of the others are quite lovely. I think one of them is a 'plus size' girl. Of course to them plus size is anything over a size 10. I don't know how they would feel if I, a size 20, would apply!!!!!!!

Oh, some preschool teacher won about one million five on The price is right tonight.

Thank you Doydie & babs954.

It's rather exciting to know that one of "our own" is doing well (so far) amongst all of your splendid artists.

Naturally, I hope he does well, and I'd appeciate any further updates as the series evolves....pl-e-e-e-e-a- s-e!

DM 02-23-2008 12:26 PM

Hey Doyd~~~ DId you see the 4 finalists from Proj Runway on Regis?? Regis asked them if they were happy w/who won and Christian said "he" was. What a lil dweeb! I think he may have won it, but I think he's acts like a spoiled lil kid and could someone PLEEEEZ cut his dopey hair???

I will for sure watch AI this week... I'm like Sal, forgot it was on. :Bang-Head: SAL??? You don't like Yau???

Can't wait till first wk of March.... Little People Big World and Jon and Kate Plus 8, which I just started watching while at DD's and now I'm hooked.

Am I the only dope who's watching BB?

You'd be ashamed at me if you all knew how many Reality shows I watch. Should we have a confessional??:D

My Bad

MSCherokee 02-23-2008 12:30 PM

DM,

I thought I was the only one watching BB9! :winky: It's actually the only reality show that I've watched every season. DH turned me onto Project Runway - can you believe that? Of course, I'm sure he wouldn't admit it to any of his friends. :icon_lol:

I got a little perturbed with Yau, when he busted into Fairplay, even though all is fair.... and He just wasn't as nice as I remembered him to be..

I watch BB....wouldn't miss it..:D

I never used to watch any of them. Doydie got me started..LOL!

DM 02-23-2008 02:52 PM

AHA!!!! Our little closet BB fans are now coming out into the open. I was so glad to see Jen leave. Haven't picked a fave couple yet. Usually takes me a few wks for them all to show their true colors, some faster than others.

No one played it better than Dr Will tho. :D

Did you know that Dr Will is a dermatologist on Dr 90210?? AYUP. Another reality show I WATCH!

AZjanie 02-23-2008 05:04 PM

I am so glad I have found others who share the reality show addictions and understand why I am afraid to tell "others". :p

I must watch them all and I feel so much better now that I have confessed!! :)

Yeah, can't wait til Ryan hears the truth about what Jen said! I did like Parker though - shame he had to leave because of Jen.

Ah, Dr. Will - simply the best! :D

AZjanie 02-23-2008 06:38 PM

Yeah; that is the trouble with the "couples" thing. I like one but not the other in most of them!

Jappy 02-23-2008 07:25 PM

I am addicted to reality shows. There I confess heheeeeeee :D

This year is the first time I just can't get into BB. I think it might be
the couple thing. You like one but not the other. I don't know. But just
about all the others WOW I am stuck.

Now that we are confessing, how many watch Soap Operas. I have to
admit this is my daytime addiction. I put on channel 2 at 12:30 PM until
3:00 PM. The Y&R-BB-ATWT. I have watched these 3 shows for years. I
started when the ms really got me and I couldn't work anymore.

Is there a cure for this addiction????????????? :D:D

Jappy

I don't think so...thank goodness there are others like us who are coming out of the closet and confessing. Good for the soul!! :)

Abbie 02-24-2008 09:00 PM

Ok... I'm having a bit of trouble getting in to this season of Big Brother... too much arguing... I don't like the couple thingy--if one goes they both go.

Am I the only one who is a reality junkie who just "doesn't get it"?

Ok... back to Nascar... yeeehawww!!!

sugarboo 02-24-2008 11:46 PM

I have watched every season of BB since the first show. I even have a Real Player Super Pass to watch them live 24/7. Thats how bad I've been. This show? To date I've watched one thru the whole hour, and the rest chose another show over it and bounced back and forth during commercials.

Tonight? I'm listening to Public Radio's Blues for the evening and not bothering with BB. I hate the couples thing and not drawn in like usual. They screwed up. Really liking Biggest Loser tho :D

A note to all AI fans-------it's on tomorrow night!

I missed Deal or no deal onight. Our paper had the time mixed up. Did Howie give away the million?

Cat_In_The_Hat_ 02-26-2008 04:28 AM

does:

48 Hours count as a reality show? Hubby and I watch that all the time. Also Parking Wars, good, lots of dumb people out there driving

Don't watch Intervention, too sad.

I started watching Hogans Best, cause nothing was on TV in the middle of the night, and enjoyed it. Hubby said I have reached a new low.:D

Used to love the one with Donald Trump, but then for some reason stopped watching and never went back.

I think one of my faves is Trading Spouses. Gotta love the matches they make. Geeze there sure are some winners out there. By that I mean majour Idiots.:D Makes for good humour.

Morning Doyd! Nope, Howie kept his millions. It looked like a sure win, but alas, it went the other direction and she walked away w/200 plus mill.

I think he said the Million Dollar Give a Way promo was over last night.

Thanks for the heads up on Iron Chef, Abbie. I really like watching the chefs create dishes from the craziest ingredients.

Pull up a chair Cat... glad to have ya w/us. I like Trading Spouse's too.
Tonight TBL, AI and BB are all on around the same time. ARGHHHH!

I can only tape and watch so much.

I know alot of people hate Reality TV, but I like the idea that they aren't paying a star a million dollars a wk to put out a half hr sitcom. no one is worth that much money. JNHO, butw/that being said, I do love several sit coms. I just think it's fun to watch reality, it makes me feel a little normal.

(please do not insert comments here):D:D I need that lil sliver of "normal" *grin*

Jappy 02-26-2008 10:51 AM

That's what is terrible all the three shows on at the same time.

Well my finger will be working hard tonight on the remote. :D:D

OK....seeing we don't get American Idol here in OZ......I need to put some-one in charge of giving me updates when Australia's entrant Michael Johns comes on.

Pl-e-e-e-a-s-e will some-one let me now how he's going when he gets on?....... and (hopefully not) if he gets outed!

Thank you. .

doydie 02-27-2008 12:59 AM

I can't tell you waht happened on BB because I ruled that one out for me this year.

Biggest Loser - Started out the winner from last weeks walked up the hill to choose his reward and he found out that all of his blue team were going to Las Vegas for two days and one night. They stayed in a big suite at Planet Hollywood. I guess that means something but I've never heard of it. So the black team decides to order room service for them from back at the ranch. So they order pizza, beer, the works. But it didn't work and the guys leave it in the hall. They find the 24 hour fitness gymn in the hotel and get a workout befor hitting the casinos. They decide to take their 'pride' motto one step further and all get a pride tatoo. So the two brothers take an early night and the other two decide to put the town to bed by staying out until 6 AM. That's about the time the other two are getting up and going back down to the gymn. A big arguement ensues when they get back up to the room and the other guys are still in bed. So they go to breakfast and then head for the tatoo parlor.

Back at the ranch Bob is seething and Jillian is working the butts off her team.

They have the reward challenge, a Biggest Loser obstacle course which of course the balck team has no way in winning. The blue team each win a trip for two for each one of them to Peurto Rico.

Then the weigh in. The blue team thinks they have it in the bag, they handled themselves well when they all went home, surley they did OK for just 2 days in Vegas. The black team weighs in first. Eveyone does decent, all pulling losses of 6 - 10 pounds. Now it's the blue team and they come up short. For some reason I can't remember their names. The good looking one of the brothers, the older one. He only loses 1 pound! So he is voted off.

American Idol - it's the guys turn tonight. The Aussie guy is first and as usual is awesome. Simon doens't like him. He doens't give much praise to anyone except for a rocker and then the young guy who is just the sweetest looking thing. Paula wants to shrink him so she can hang him on her rear view mirror. He did a John Lennon song which I din't think they were allowed to do Beatles songs. Simon says it is might risky to do such a famous song but he did it well. He predicted him as the one to beat.

I taped AI on my DVR and watched it after TBL. AI was a 90 minute program which took me less than 60 minutes to watch it after fast forwarding through commercials. Amzing!

Koala77 02-27-2008 01:06 AM

Please Doydie.....can you let me know after tonight's show how the Australian goes?

sugarboo 02-27-2008 11:17 AM

Did anyone watch BB last night? Toward the end of it while watching Biggest Loser, I popped over to see what was going on during a commercial break....

Seems a team was on 'slop'....and just as I tuned in, one of the girls had an alergic reaction to it and was getting medical attention in the diary room, meanwhile, out in the kitchen, another girl said she was hypoglycemic and she passed out, went into convulsions....and in came the paramedics and took them to the hospital.....I switched back to watch Mark get voted off of Biggest Loser.......

Anyone watch BB and know how that all turned out???

Something must be wrong with the slop this year!!!!!

DM 02-27-2008 04:01 PM

It was a taping nightmare last night. I watched part of this, taped part of that.... Mark on TBL got into a lil row w/ Roger about who was to go. Mark had told them a couple of wks ago, that if they voted Trent out that he would step up to the plate when it was his time.I am rooting for the Black team. But, next wk~ the teams will be combined.

After much bawling between the two brothers, and I do mean OH BROTHER... Mark agreed to be voted out. Doydie gave a great synopsis. Go Doyd!!!!

BB was strange. Alison had to have an epi pen used due to an allergic reaction and Amanda fainted due to hypoglycemia and they were both taken to the ER, BUT returned later and are ok. I kept thinking Amanda was faking it. I guess she wasn't, but I don't trust her.

Sharon and Josh won the POV and kept the same couples on the block.

Sooooo. it's taping and watching again tonight.

I can't take the stress, I tell ya!!!!

doydie 02-28-2008 12:43 AM

I'm a stressful mess! Fox put a ballgame on during AI!!!!!! So AI was on at 9 PM. I already had two shows scheduled for 9, one to watch and one to DVR. So I had to scrap Law and order. I love Men in trees and the new shows were beginning tonight so I had to watch it. I feel sorry for the ones who vote on AI. I know, i should but don't. It was over at 10:30 and I assume voting would have been over at that time. So I will watch it tomorrow during the day.

I also DVRd Americas next top model and was going to DVR Project runway but one good thing about Bravo, they rerun there shows frequently enought that if you miss it the first time around, it will be on again.

Tomorrow's my neuro's app't so wish me luck. I'm going to get an answer out of her as to why she has never let me know I have more than one lesion.

MSacorn 02-28-2008 01:02 AM

I watched AI tonight and Project Runway.

I had to vote for Amanda, for some reason, I like her personality and don't want her to go just for her whacked hair.

I'm not surprised about the PR contestent that gets to go into the finally. I won't spoil it tonight for anyway. For the loser, all I have to say about that is Ewwww!
