Sally, I fully agree with you on DWTS. I do enjoy watching Priscilla though. I think she is so much prettier during her rehearsals without all the makeup.

I guess I totally missed Cold calse. Bad, bad Big Brother!

Today I watched a full movie on HULU.com. It was a Veggie Tales movie but what the heck. I had to do something to keep out the noise of the jack hammering of the waterproofing company. I told my husband to imagine himself completely in a tube fitting closely around his whole body, unable to move it and hearing that jack hamerring off and on for about an hour. That is an MRI! He had a little more sympathy for me.

sugarboo 04-15-2008 10:36 AM

Can't wait for TBL Finale tonight :D Go ALI!! :)

AZjanie 04-16-2008 12:17 AM

I watched BL while DH watched DWTS and I was flipping back and forth from BB to BL.

BL had a very happy ending and everyone looked great! One less show to watch which will make it a bit easier.

doydie 04-16-2008 12:51 AM

Wow, I love my Tuesday eves!!!!!

First woman winner for TBL!!!!! I was proud of them all but Ali looked great. She didn't look worried at all when Allison told her she needed to lose 105 pounds to win. I was reallly suprised that Bernie won over Mark and Jay. But when he walked out I knew the other guys were in trouble. In fact from Dan and his Mom on down they all looked great. You could really tell how that extra time at the ranch did it. The first couple of couples (that's sound weird to say) needed to be a little more serious about it.

AI. Mariah Carey did a good job. I'm not sure I have the same opinion as the judges on some of them but I just don't like David Cooks kind of music but I can understand why they say hs ie good. I feel so sorry for Syesha. On the prediction site she is really in trouble. But Christy Lee looks good. But theses are only from the phone votes only.

DWTS. I really like the little ones. Someone said that they knew one of the pairs. Were you right? I think America got the vote right. You just feel sorry for anyone leaving. They put so much into the rehearsing and performing and then it's all over. I did enjoy seeing Priscilla Presley perform and see a little into her life. There must have been quite an age difference in her and Elvis.

sugarboo 04-16-2008 09:57 AM

Way to go Ali!! Woo Hoo....She was HOT!

SallyC 04-16-2008 12:24 PM

OOPS, forgot DWTS was on and I don't watch BL.

On BB, Natalie was backdoored and will most likely be leaving tonight..Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! Adam took himself off the block..He he..:D

The correct dimwit went home from HK and Dreadlocks was the best singer on AI. Not sure who was the worst?

DM 04-16-2008 12:40 PM

Hi all! WOW, am I glad TBL is over, but really glad a woman took it. I liked Ali, but her mom, Bette Sue drove me nuts. I can scratch one off my list for now.
BB was pretty good; hope Nat leaves tonight. Her incessant rambling drives me crazy.

Flipped to AI, DWTS and H's Kitchen on and off. Whew!!

Then, had to tape Boston Legal. *Not a reality show, but I love it and YES, it's also on Tues night. ARGHHHHH!

OK, I feel better now. Carry on.:D

I watched it today Sal. Your'e right; it was really good. At least w/TBL over, I won't feel so much PRESSURE on Tues nights!!!

SallyC 04-16-2008 09:23 PM

BB.....Yeaaaa, goodbye Nat with your phoney ta tas..:D

Awwwwww, AI was a little sad tonight. It makes me mad, how the announcer plays games with the contestant's feelings.. I don't think I'll ever forgive him for the dirty trick he played on Michael Johns, last week..

doydie 04-16-2008 10:32 PM

I was bummed out with AI tonight. But she has a lot potential and will still do something. Kelly Pickler won 3 awards this week on the CM awards. I saw an interview, well a partial interview, with Michael Johns this week and Dolly Parton has personally called him and said she wants to do a duet with him and wants to write some music for him. There also was someone that has him booked to be on some show with Josh Groban next month. So just because you don't win doens't mean your life is over. Look at Chris Daughtry!

FlyFishin Momma 04-16-2008 11:06 PM

I was very confused and started getting pretty upset (thinking Carley might be going)
The "games" are way mean and uncalled for I think....
I am not sorry that Christy went.....Her or Shieasa (dont know if thats how you spell her name or not...) or Brooke could have either one been the one to go tonight (in my book)....

But I couldnt choose between Carley, David Cook (the MO boy woo hhoo) or David A.
I love them all....would love to see all three of them with albums....and I would buy them lol lol lol lol

ROFL!! The look on her face when it was a tie was priceless! I loved it!! I bet Matty was unhappy to see her in the sequesture house. She has NO clue how ill he becomes when she gets near him....that's written all over his face! LOL!!!

I agree, Kay. I like David C the best myself. He's such a rocker at heart. Carly needs to believe in her awesomeness. Is that a word?

And the young David is so very talented. It's going to be a tough choice.

doydie 04-17-2008 11:56 PM

I'm not really sure who I want to win AI now. I am definitley not a rocker so I'm not a David C fan and I'm tired of Carly not living up to her potential. Michael Johns is gone and now Cristy Lee who were my favorites. I know that David A is awesome but as a 58 year old grandma I kind of hate for a kid as young as seemingly naive as he is to lose that innocense that he will immediatly lose if he wins.

Haven't talked about Americas next top model lately. Last week was a recap. They are off to Rome now. I can't remember the name of the girl who went home last night. I think it was Pam but I can't say for sure there is a Pam on the show. Anyone ever feel that way. She was the cute little round face girl.

Survivor. We had our jaw drooper tonihgt. Ozzy got a little to cocky for his cute little curly headed self. His team decided to pull a fast one and vote him off while he felt safe and didn't play the HII. And he was not happy. It will be interesting to hear his final words on the web site tomorrow. And Parvati better watch it to. She was the one of his alliance that voted for him.

SallyC 04-18-2008 11:46 AM

I agree with you Doydie about AI. I liked Michael and Kristy too..:( I still like Dreadlocks and Carly. :)

Muahahahaha...Bye bye Ozzie. :D

AZjanie 04-18-2008 03:40 PM

I was at a meeting so taped Survivor and watched it late last night. I couldn't believe it and Ozzie thought he was invincible.

I thought he was going to use the idol. I guess he should have because after he was "outed" he should have known he was a target!

News Flash:
It's a game and big money so everyone is out to win; you have no friends!

DM 04-18-2008 06:15 PM

Whew~ Had to skip a couple of posts when I saw the word "Survivor" as I taped it and haven't watched it yet. That was a close one!

I am lmao at the twins comment too. Buh~bye Nat on BB.

I got sick of looking at her pumped up balloons!

Thanks for all the updates everyone, but like I said~ I have to watch Survivor yet... :grouphug:

sugarboo 04-18-2008 09:31 PM

DH and I let out a LOUD SUSTAINED LAUGH when Ozzy got blind-sided. Yep...out witted. These people who get tossed off with the safty idol are so dumb. What are they waiting for? ROFLMAO!!! Like that kid on "The Simpsons"....HAAA HAAAAAAA!!!!!

(I do like Ozzy, but it was just too much not to LOL)

DM 04-20-2008 07:12 PM

Thanks for the Survivor update, Doydie~ I went to watch it today and GUESS WHAT?? I taped the wrong channel!! So, OZZY is gone, huh??

Good, I wanted him to go, as he thought he had too much power.

Can't believe I didn't get it taped... DUH ME!!!! :(

Glad to see I am not the only one who does that!

Yep; the almighty Oz is history now. Who's next? I think maybe Parvoti or James and I really like him but he is a strong player which is not always a good thing.

BB tonite! I hope they don't do a segment on Nasty Natalie and the twins leaving.

Won't Matt be overjoyed at seeing her come in the door yakking away??!!

DM 04-20-2008 07:42 PM

I'm watching BB right now, Janie. Final 4!!!

It should start to get pretty intersting.

Just glad to see the bouncing "globes" gone.

If you have high speed internet you can watch the episode on line at their website CBS.com If you have DSL you can read a pretty good recap on the same website. If you can watch the videos they have a lot of extra videos this year, extra scenes, shows where they go after voted off. Just a lot of fun things to watch if you are a fanantic like me!

doydie 04-20-2008 11:38 PM

I watched the fianle of Oprahs Big give tonight. Wasn't suprised with who won it. I think the female (whatever her name is) finalist was. She really thought she would win. It was nice that they two remaining finalists got $100,000 and the other contestants got $30,000. As far as the winner getting 1 million, it was actually $500,000 for themselves and $500,000 to give away.

Couldn't sleep last night so i got up and watched some 'on demand' TV. One reality show I had not watched was Mama don't dance. I can't watch all the reality shows!!!! All the episodes was on 'On demand' except for the finale. But I went to their website and reead who won it. It will still be nice if I can catch the last show. the whole premise of the show was to take professional dancers and pair them up with their Mom or Dad and have elimination each week.

MSacorn 04-21-2008 12:22 AM

I watched the Big Give finale tonight too. And I thought the young girl Brandi should win. But last week when they went home, and I saw Steven had a family, I got this feeling he would win anyway.

I'm glad everyone got something. $30k for 1-8 weeks work is a pretty nice chunk of change. I wonder how many will give some/all away. I'd like to know.

Big Brother

I'm officially confused. I didn't see the entire show last night because of a special Papal visit report. Didn't come on until the last 5 minutes or so. I know what happened because of the BB boards but here's my question -- was there ANY indication that tomorrow will be an eviction? I don't think this will be a spoiler (HOPE not!) but it looks like the houseguests think it's all going down tomorrow. But, on the show's last few minutes, I thought I heard Julie say that (as usual) tomorrow would be the veto show.

I really like Sharon the best and if it wasn't for Ryan's horrible girlfriend (who would undoubtedly reap the benefit of his prize), I wouldn't mind him winning either. SOOOO glad Natalie is gone!! Okay, official spoiler below -- highlight only if you want to see.

Ryan won the veto. Still unclear as to how Adam will vote. He says he'll vote how Ryan wants him to but Ryan is not trusting him completely. Seems to be a little back and forth as to who to vote out (who Ryan wants gone). Was looking like he wanted to get rid of Sheila and also that there might be a little side deal with Sharon about the final 2 but now it's looking a little less certain and that he might want to honor the "Bro" alliance. SLIGHT chance that Ryan will take Sharon off and put Adam up... A lot of this back and forth seemed to be from BB casting suspicion about one more prior relationship. But, that's over now -- BB finally told the houseguests that the guinea pigs are sisters.

SallyC 04-21-2008 09:50 AM

I'm not positive, but I think they do the veto and eviction on the same show. We shall see??

I think the dark haired 40 yr old is going to be evicted, but I hope not, because I'd like her to win......after her, then Brian....I can't stand another minute of Adumb!!

BB9 Update

Okay, here's the schedule. Looks like they may in fact have sped it up a bit.

4/22/2008: (Tuesday) 9/8c The Power of Veto competition is held and a houseguest is evicted, leaving three players in the game

4/23/2008: (Wednesday) 8/7c A Head of Household competition is held and the winner immediately evicts a player, leaving only two people in the game

4/27/2008: (Sunday) 8/7c The jury members question the final two houseguests and then vote for the BB9 Winner

And for those who want it, a spoiler:

Noms stayed the same. As of right now, looks like Adumb did a good job of convincing Ryan that Sharon has to go. Unless something changes in the next 24 hours, girlfriend is in trouble!

DM 04-21-2008 08:15 PM

Thanks BG! You done good!

doydie 04-21-2008 11:48 PM

I've never gone to tthe official Big give web site on ABC but it would be nice of there are updates of how the contestants are doing and what or if they did with thier money.

DWTS. Kristi got a perfect 30. She was made for the jive. There is a lot of bad talk about her on their website because of her proffesional training. I just wish it would all go away. I'm beginning to get worried about Marlee. she just hasn't done so well the last couple of weeks. and she is really hard on herself.

Bearygood 04-22-2008 09:50 AM

BB9 Update *SPOILER ALERT*

Skip to the next post -- highlight ONLY if you want to know.

So much for the schedule. I guess it's correct but in terms of what will air but not what's going on in the house. The vote tonight will NOT be live, folks -- it already happened. Bye-bye Sharon. The first part of the last HOH comp also took place last night, with Ryan taking the win.

I never thought I'd say this but I'm actually rooting for Sheila. I kind of doubt she has a shot though unless she wins HOH.

doydie 04-22-2008 11:55 PM

Tonight was a rough night on AI. Broadway music is hard even if some of the songs are very common. I'm not saying the Andrew Loyd Weber is Broadway but a lot of his shows are there. I hate to say it but David Cook was my favorite tonight. I am not a David C fan but he was forced to sing what I like tonight. Felt sorry for Brooke, if it weren't for the VFTW website picking her as their favorite i don't think she would be here and they might just keep her in because that is their whole cause - vote for the worst. Also the AI website says that jason was pretty sick, even had to have some IVs between rehearsal and the show.

DWTS. Good by Marlee, you gave us a wonderful season. You were an inpsiration to anyone that is different from the norm. I would say handicap but I know that deaf people do not like to use that word. Fabian should be commended also for his inguinuity in teaching her. I really enjoy seeing the kids dance. The couple that won tonight were great. I had to rewind it to see what they were talking about to see what went on with her dress when she took it off her shoe. She did it so seamlessly that you wouldn't have even noticed that something was wrong. That is a sign of a true professional. Even at age 13.

SallyC 04-23-2008 12:29 AM

Bye Bye Sharon, from BB...she was shocked.. I'm still rooting for Shelia to win.

On AI, I agree, Doydie, Cook was the best tonight...along with Saeesha(sp)..she was a big hit.

I hated Carly's performance tonight, but that's just me. I think the judges liked her.

I was sad to see Marlee go, on DWTS, too. She tried so hard and I thought she did very well under the circumstance.

Yamaguchi was wonderful, as usual..:)

BTW, DM, another excellent Boston Legal, last night.

DM 04-23-2008 07:03 PM

Thanks for the BB spoilers, BG! Dang it, I don't want Ryan to win. I'm rooting for Sheila too and Yes, I never ever thought I'd say that either. I laugh at Adam, tho~~ when he starts ranting, I just lose it! :D

Thanks Doyd for the updates. I felt bad that Marlee left too. She tried so hard.

I'm watching BB now; it just came on.

later all>>>>

PS: I taped BL last night, Sal~ so will watch it soon. They are all good.

SallyC 04-23-2008 09:30 PM

BB ......I am shocked and dismayed.. I don't care who wins now..

AI ......I am shocked and dismayed.. I am very angry that the viewers are playing with people's lives by voting for the underdogs. It won't work, because the record producers, out there, know who the best ones are..:)
