Amanda really pulled that one out of the hat. That's the best
game play I have seen in a long time. Yamacooche (however you spell it) it's not fair, she knows how to move her body because of skating. You take a professional skate dancer, take off the skates and she does the same dance movements, only in shoes. Jappy |
I started a new reality show today. Welll actually it was recorded a couple of days ago. The farmer takes a wife. I guess it's like the bachelor only with less budget because it's on the CW network. I don't know if I will continue. The whole pretense is to marry this farmer so there are a couple of girls that won't even touch a chicken! Why did they ever bother to apply. What do they think farmers do?
I may stick with it since AI, DWTS and Survivor are all coming to an end. Unfortunarely some of the other dramas that I watch are also coming close to the season finale! |
Survivor was really great!! What a smart move unlike others who had the idol and didn't use it.
Bummer about James; he was the one I would have chosen to be in the finals. Maybe he will get fan votes? With all the reality shows coming to an end we'll have to find something else to talk (complain) about!! |
I have a 'Survivor' delima for Sunday nights finale. We are going to Lexington to see the grand kids. Yes, I know. Kentucky has TV. The oldest will go to bed at 8 PM when it starts. So I can watch it but I know I am the only one of us who will want to watch it. My daughter and her hubbie will be at a party at church most of the 3 hours it is on. My husband gets very bored when we are there because he doesn't have control over what we do. My daughter is a very controlling person. But she does it ever so politely!
So, I have my DVR set to record all 3 hours. But we won't get back home until late Monday night and I always sleep almost the next full day. So I can't watch it until Wednesday. I don't know if I can wait that long. I can't come to this thread, or the Survivor website. Plus my daughter doesn't have cable and their reception is terrible. |
Doydie~~~ Where in Lexington Ky. does your daughter live?
My son lives in Wincester, Ky next door to each other Jappy |
Christian had everybody beat tonight...and with one arm tied behind his back (because of his injury) ..LOL
Nice Bod, too...Pant, pant, pant..:D Everyone else was very very good though, so you never know..:) |

I always thought it was the M.S. but it is the C.H.F. Christian Hot Flash!! |
Joyce, actually they live in Nichaolasville but it's in the county and closer to Lexington so we say Lexington. They live in a 'trailer park community' off Tates Creek road. I definetely would not say it is a part of Kentuckies finest places to live. But it's my girl and her two wonderful little girls and husband. He's pretty good to.
I thought Christian was great tonight to. I was dissapointed in the judging. Jason and Edetya had several lifts in their first dance and weren't called out on it. I think they all took advantage of the one lift rule. I think tonight was defiently a time when Kristis' skating experience gave her an advantage. She knew how to do all the spins. |
The Judges are starting to come down a little hrer on Yamaguchi....I think, because of her advantage. They expect more....and should. She's still great, but Christian rocks..:D

So right Sal. I have always felt that she had an unfair advantage over everyone else. I think the rest has been doing great. Christian Yaaaaaaaaaaaaa !!! Jappy :Dancing-Chilli::Dancing-Chilli: |
I cant believe Idol is almost over already. This season seemed to fly by.
I have been watching Can You Duet....its pretty good.....and my DD and I LOVE Nanny 911.......I am hoping my DD is learing some great lessons. And Trading spouces....oh my we laugh so hard at that show and wonder what kind of erson would they exchange me with....probably a city slicker prissy panties snob......wouldnt she have fun scoopin cow poop and digging in the garden with her manicured fingernails?????? |
Calling all DWTS's fans.... Tonight they are having some of the dancers back from previous seasons like Apollo!!!!!
It's 2 hrs long tonight opposite AI. Why do they do that to us????? |
Tuesday Reminder
Recently I've been lax and I do apologize. But remember you GS Family Jewels fans it's on tonight on A&E and repeats 3 hrs later. I've got my dvr set to record.
Looking forward to AI and HK tonight too. |
Oh No, DM. My local guide didn;t tell me that.. I may have to miss the most of the first hr of DWTS. Waaaaaaa. I don't bother to record anymore...too much trouble and worry..LOL
I am not a big Jewels fan, Jappy. I do watch it late at night though, if nothing good is on TruTV. |
Thanks Beth~ You know I always forget that about FJ's. Dang it.
Right now I'm watching DWTS's favorite dances. It's so fantastic. Just saw my Apollo dance and Helio too. Drew and Cheryl are dancing .... gotta run. |
I guess I didn't see that DWTS was two hours long. I only watched the last hour of it. I wondered where those 10 favorite dances were. I know that Marissa is improving every week but i don't know what keeps her in. Being an oversized woman:) myself I enjoy watching her but she should be out.
My, oh my. What in the world did Jason do. He is one of the last four and he forgot most of a verse! I'm sure he is the pick of the Vote for the worst web site so they will do all they can to get votes for him but I hope he is the one going home tomorrow night. It's like he wants to go home. I can't see how Seyesha stays in the bottom 2 every week. I wish we could vote from a bottom three like Survivor. Another bit of reality show. I am from Indiana and here it is past midnight and we have one county that is still reading their votes before turning them in. I'm sure that both Obama and Clinton will ask for a recount. |
I was watching DWTS and going inbetween AI.
Next thing I know it was 10pm. That's what has been happening I just fall asleep, wake up and say what is happening. also missed last night HK Jappy |
HK was so funny to me last night....who feeds shrimp and asparegus to a bunch of 15/16 years olds???? I just laugh so hard the the boss man....he tries so hard to be an ***** but I think he is funny...and he is so NOT like that when they have thier rewards times and he is OUT of the kitchen....Then...I actually LIKE him.....
AI....Jason sssssoooooo wants to go home....I think the compitition is getting to him ...what ya'll think?????I also think Simon rattled him a bit after the first song....he has a way of doing that......David A is so dang cute....but I just LOVE LOVE LOVE MY COOK BOY!!!!!!! (as if that didnt show at all) |
I watched a bit of them all.. How maddening to have them all on at the same time...Grrrrrrr!
On AI, David A was outstanding. I like them all. They're all good, but David A won the night. Poor Jason is feeling the pressure. We'll see what the voters say, but in all fairness, he should be the one who goes home. DWTS.. I think, the sweet chubby gal is popular with the voters, but she should have gone home instead of Mario. Christian Rocks!!! HK was good & funny, but I missed the very end....who went home? I hope it was the complainer guy. Later Fellow Addicts..:D |
Hi All! Well, as the shows start to wind down, they do get interesting.
AI ~ I just don't think Jason stands out as an AI. He's cute (minus the hair) but his voice isn't strong enough. Would like to see him really BELT something out. Both David's are really good. Love, loved, loved the first hr of DWTS's. Reliving those dances w/some of my faves was so great. They all STILL got it! H's K was pretty good. Still say Chef Ramsey is one hot tamale!! oooo~la~la... Hey Beth, thanks for reminding me about FJ's, It was really good tonight. Later gators. :grouphug: |

I am so glad that America got it right and sent Jason home. He sounded so good in the opening song so I know he has a great voice. I guess he sounded good because there was no pressure on him. No one was judging him. I just wish it could be a final three like in Survivor. I hate to see another one go next week and I want all three of them to win.
I taped 'The farmer takes a wife' and will probbaly watch it tomorrow. Oh, I also taped Americas next top model. |
Beth I think we must be.....lol..
Did you know I was sitting here eating a mini Special Dark candy bar just cuz I wanted it lol lol..... I am with ya Doydie...............NOW....that hard part starts....How many times a night can you vote from the same household????? My cell doesnt pick up at home so can't use that....but I got a phone line and MIL next door has 2 phone lines.......then just gotta figure which David to vote for?????? HHUUMMM I wonder....*drifting off to dreamland* |
AI~~ America woke up. The last three are all good
myself I hope that David Cook wins. David A. has a great voice but I don't think he is ready to set out into the world. He will be offered a lot of contracts, if he hasn't already. Survivor should be interesting tonight. Better let Sage out and get myself ready to watch it. It is now 7:40 pm. Got to make a snack to enjoy the show. Jappy :D |

I think all three should win on AI. :) |
OK, question for Survivor fans??
Does Natalie creep anyone else out besides me? She is KREEPY w/a Capital K. She has a waxy looking face. Want her to gooooooooooooo! |
I can't believe it. Of all the stupid things for Erik to do.. I won't say, for those who have not watched it yet, but EGADS!!!!!
Another great day for the Gals!!!!! LOL!!! |
hahahahaha...that was too funny huh? :D
|
Erik = What a DOPE!

I know on my cell, by texting, I can vote for free and as many times as I want. This week I voted 25 times for the COOKster. I'm voiting for my fav Dave C. I figure all the tweens and teens will vote for David A, so us "of age" should vote for David C. JMHO  |
Erik will definitely go down in the books of Survivor. He was a sweet kid but just a little to naive. And Sunday night aint going to be pretty watching those last four women fight it out. I am pretty sure Cerie and Parvati will be in the final 3. I'm not sure if they would want Natalie along just to increase their own chances of winning or decide to just make it a final favs 3 like they had planned a long time ago on the boat. I'm going to be in Lexington watching the grand kids. If I can convince my husband to watch it there I will. If not I won't be able to watch it until Wednesday at home.
|
It was painful to watch! Poor dopey kid.
|
I don't care for her, but I'm guessing Cerie will be the Survivor winner. Just a hunch. If Natalie wins, I'll :vomit2:
|
Poor Eric.... all those boobs messed with his mind! He will forever be remembered as the dumbest (is that a word?) Survivor of all time. I still want Amanda to win, but Natalie is devious and yes CREEPY! So who knows.
