IRS.gov has a calculater to give you an estimate of what you might get. I thought that since my husband and I are married filing jointly that we would get the $1,200. But the calculater just says $600.

I just assumed it was because neither my husband nor I had taxable income. My kids are getting anywhere from $300-600 based on their income. We do not claim them anymore since we stopped filing 5 years ago.

It was weird filling out the 1040a with no W2 in front of me.

Sally, are you on SS disability and made over $3000? If you did and do not get a package by this next week, go to the IRS website and download a 1040a. Once you do that get in touch with me and I'll tell you exactly where to fill it out. The main thing is to put STIMULUS PAYMENT on the top of the 1040a. Basically you just fill out the top and add how much you make in the social security section and sign it. By putting that on top they know why it's not filled out completely.

Whoohoo! Your daughter is racking up some moola!
