Grin We're getting a stimulus check!
Holy cow! We got our packet today and it said those with SS disability and Veteran's pay get a check! Whoohoo!!!! It was so easy to file, just follow the example 1040a, fill in a few lines and done! I even called the IRS to clarify that we do indeed get a check.

Anyone with SS and/or disability, VA disability, certain railroad retirement benefits, certain veterans benefits and non taxable combat pay $3000 or higher, get going and get your refund check too! You should be receiving your packet in the mail.

The best part? These stimulus checks are non taxable!

cool sandy, then i guess we can have steaks instead of hamburgers when we come down fishing this summer

I'm still waiting to celebrate until I get that actual check!! I'm such a pessimist. Thanks for the information Sandy!!

I'm so happy to hear that news Sandy!! You two are cracking me up with the steak and good wine! DD was just asking why I don't cook steak anymore....I said because it costs $50 bucks right now to buy them! She said so what do we eat then? I said Chicken and Mcdonalds...LOL!!!

Yeah, she told me to file jointly which would mean $600 but she said the key word we "should" get $600 lol

Snoopy, I hope you get one. According to the IRS, anyone who had taxable and certain non-taxable income over $3000 qualifies.
