2 days for me...so i can't vote. tuesday's and saturdays.

it totally sucks that the city i live in now does NOT recycle! ( i will be soooo glad when we move next july!)

the schools recycle all types of paper, so i take it there.

Thursday for trash at home and work, but I bring my recycling to work because it's picked up every other Tuesday.

Used to be Monday, but they switched it to Friday. I liked Mondays better since most of the cleaning gets done on the weekend, lol

It was Mondays in So. Maine and there was an excellent recycling program there. I've been in the VI for the past three years and there is nearly no recycling here. It's insane. I want to scream IT"S AN ISLAND.

I joined the two environmental organizations that are trying to get something going, but tings de move slo mon. Where I work we recycle aluminum, newspaper for animal bedding, we shread and compost landscape debris, and get all the electronics and white goods delt with. Unlike the states it takes a lot of time and effort.

My trash, I bring to the bin (dumpster) at the fire station in Cotton Valley which is kind of cool because people set their good stuff on the side and people take what they want. We call it the Cotton Valley Mall. We have a Freecycle group that helps to.

early Thurs a.m. Since we live out of town, we have a recycle bin for papers that DH takes into his Aunt's in town to be picked up. He just asked the city for one and they provided it.

oops, tomorrow is trash day; better empty the waste paper baskets.
