DM I figured it had to be something big that was keeping you occupied... WOW was it! I will be praying for your DS, MIL and you. Want someone to kick the BIL in the shins?? I'll pray he gets on the same page with the rest of the family.

DM, I am SO sorry that you are going through all of this and please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time!

We have all missed you terribly but we totally understand that sometimes you just need to "step away" for a little bit to try and get health and personal issues back on track. We will all be here for you whenever you need a shoulder to lean on and when you feel up to coming back.

In the meantime though, you are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope things get better for you all real soon ... you have been through so much this past year and I hope and pray that 2009 is a better year for you!!

Thank you friends~ I'm hoping I wasn't too much of a DM downer. But, I just looked in my big white bag from the lab and there's a big plastic container for the piddle collection and those kind lab techs decided to include a nice plastic hat for me. It must be a ''one size fits all'' and it's hard plastic so it won't mess my hair up. Plus, the white will go with anything I wear. Now, wasn't that thoughtful of them?? Don't think it will keep my ears warm though. Maybe it's a soup bowl

I don't know, DM, are white hats 'allowed' after labor day, tehe . I understand and feel for you . His year has been awful . My Grandmother had to be moved to a NH a few years ago due to Alzheimer's. My uncle put up a fight about it, he lost. He wasn't the one who took care of her, my mom did. It was the best decision for my gram, she was becoming a danger to herself. She wasn't happy about it, to say the least. Now she's doing quite well there . I like to think that if we were't a bit depressed, stressed and overwhelmed we wouldn't be 'normal' . Don't feel bad for letting us know what's going on with you! That's what we're here for! Sometimes I disappear from NT for couple of weeks at a time. It's okay to do that . My baby sis, she's 35, has severe bone loss too. Her feet are practically disintegrating. She dreads her density testing. She won't get tested for any underlying causes because she really doesn't want a dx. She has chronic bladder an kidney infections too. My family is an autoimmune trainwreck. I hope you get some relief from all of this soon. Many and much love too you, Mary Ann.

LMAO!!! Never been much of a hat person, but maybe if I put a little strap on it, I could ride on AMN's scooter w/her. HA! No way, I've seen her drive that thing!

We did MIL's pre funeral planning today and I did alright, until the director looked at me and said that she remembered how hard it was for me when we planned my Mother's services ahead of time. She was being kind, but it sure brought back memories.

Then, I went into MIL's bedroom to get a tissue and there right on her dresser, was a memorial folder from my Mother's funeral w/my sweet Mom's pic on the front. She was so beautiful! But, da da daaaaaaaaaaa toxic BIL is coming around to our way of thinking finally and will be checking w/a NH today. *relief*

My DH pretty much put his foot down and the older sis agreed! That is one less thing to worry about for now. I have so much appreciated the support and advice/suggestions from you all b/c I know we are all here for a reason and we all have hurdles in front of us; sometimes when we least expect them. THANK YOU!!!!
