Default new meds

Well here we go again....medication rotation. I just signed my life away (not really being the drama queen that I am) to get the fentanyl patch instead of my oxycontin as I think my body has become used to the drug and it no longer works.

rotation of opiods is a good thing. It helps to give you a holiday so to speak from the other drug and each drug works in a different way! I hope this helps me get some better pain relief

I have been popping the percocet and diazepam like smarties or tart n' tiny's
lol not good I know but gotta survive with less pain right!!!!!

hope all are having a good day or night and are as pain free as possible

love and hugs to all,
Victoria

Hi Victoria,
I know what you mean about the oxy becoming like immunity and changing meds. Start low and build up for any side effects if you have to.
I stopped by to look at your Art work and totally love the Friends Forever. Are they 3-D wwith a combination of techniques? They are so original!

Default Hi Di

Thanks for looking at my art. It helps me keep sane!! It is all kinds of mediums. You can use anything you like on the cards. I am an avid scrapbooker so I got into making cards and now I make artist trading cards and am trading with people all over the world. Only rule for the atc's is that you have to make it 3'5" x2'5" and you cant sell or buy them. they are for trade....just like hockey cards or whatever the kids are trading these days!! Only they are little bits of art work.

glad I changed my meds today has been a pretty pain free day...but I did have my massage today and it has been three weeks due to scheduleing issues!! My pain has been under 6 at times today!! Only breakthrough once so I don't go into withdrawl!!!!!!

Hope you are keeping well. You are in my thoughts and prayers!

love and hugs,
Victoria

Wow some pretty good art work vic!.

Glad to hear your having a pain free time at the mo!. I had a massage with hot stones yesterday......it was like heaven - beats any regular massage hands down.

Default pain back with a vengance

ok the pain is back....damn it one day is all I got....so thinking...massage doing the pain causing/????? has been like this since they said possible FM??? I want my pain gone!!! Or at least a 6/10 again!! boooo hoooo

and to top it all off having issues with comp as well....not returning calls not giving me timely access to my chart etc.

I am at my wits end with these idiots. So I sent three letters explaining how ****** I am..one to adjudicator, one to her manager and one to assistant director!!! all managers above adjudicator. Hope this gets me a new adjudicator! Who knows Lord works in mysterious ways does she not!!!

love and hugs to all and a pain free day as possible.

Victoria
Sometimes I heard about the toxins being released during a massage and you have to get rid of that.
Maybe someone can recall what it is called, but like the calm before the storm.
I hope that you feel better soon.

vic- i didn't realize that was your art. I'm impressed! I am nowhere near that creative. I agree that massages can make you sore sometimes- i think you're supposed to drink alot of water to help "flush" the toxins from your body.

cyn -- good to hear from you! I'd be glad to help walk you through the adding of photos sometime.

I hope everyone is having a good week......
