TODAY I........
hope that the repeat fusion works out for you dawn, I hd C6-7 done app14 years ago, by a Dr down in Philadelphia, fortunate for me it worked out perfect. I did act as my own host for the plug vs cadavar, I felt less of a chance of rejection.

Jo, glad to hear that you are up and running... I learned on my first system to have a reputable virus protection that runs at all times... plus I try and stay away from spam.... I guess if a hacker/spammer wants in, they will!!!

beth, I do really like Dr T. , all I am saying is the RSD dx seems to be accepted more readily aand may help in me getting a jump on my benefits... though wish I never heard of TOS, RSD, CRP...let alone live it As far as Schwartzman is concerned, I am just holding my own with money as it is let alone another Dr bill!!!

Unto all, my wish for a good and pain free day follow each and everyone !!!

Default Today I...

Want to say Hello to everyone..
Mark, The last surgery I had for my fusion took a cadaver bone.. Which didn't work so the Dr wants to take the graph from my Hip... How did you do with that.. And how long did it take for the discomfort of the graph site to ease up.. I know they say that the graph is more painful than the cervical surgery itself.. I'm just getting the jitters about that.. The surgery is no big deal since I have been through it before and know what to expect.. Just curious what the other is like..
I hope that everyone is having a good day and that everyone is comfortable and having a low pain day..
((Hugs))
Dawn

Dawn, that is true that the graft site is more painful than the neck however, my Dr had me up adn walking hours after surgery. He told me that exercise eliviates the pain quicker and after about 3 days the pain pretty much so vanished. Unfortunately this Dr does not practice medicine anymore, last I heard he was teaching at the U of P .

Unto all passing by, my wishes for a good day!

Horizontal One,
My heart just aches for you.....You've been through so much and I hate to hear that you're going through so much pain and I think you have every reason to come here and vent because all of us here know that you're not one to just come on here and complain all the time. You've always tried to stay upbeat and you always encourage others and I think that all of us admire you for that. Yes, there are people much worse off than all of us but that doesn't make your pain any less important to you. I'm hoping that you can get through this hard time and will feel better soon.

Today I.......was wondering if anyone else suffers from the flexor nerve/muscle problem where fall asleep with your arm straight the last three fingers curl up and you need somebody to bend your arm and staighten it out your fingers, or yourself slowly because the pain from fingers to neck make you dizzy????

Just a question in the whole scheme of life itself............
