Heart today I...

...wish you all a Blessed Easter and all good wishes for a pleasant, relaxing, stress-free day. Yes Mark, feeling those temps in Dixie - I'm having uncontrolable daydreams of Key West and frozen coconutty drinks.

dream on,
Anne

Unhappy

Today I ...
Wish everyone a Happy Easter... and I learned that I am going back to Florida.. Mom in the hospital again (since Tuesday) she has an Esophogus Ulcer(sp?) which could of been due to her having SO many drugs from the Lumbar Fusion surgery (just got back 2 weeks ago from FL). But she is getting out TODAY and she will be on Antibiotics. I hope she doesn't relapse again till I am there to take care of her...

SO...... back to the WARM sunshine for a while.... but my week won't end... gotta put my dog down on Friday......sniff sniff sniff Dakota.. of 12 years, my best friend.. but having a group of friends like you all helps ALOT so hope everyone has a great weekend.....I will try.. (the TOS is killing me tho !!)

Ciao,
Dolfinz

Dolfinz,
I am so sorry to hear of all your up and coming trials. I do hope that your mother is doing better and I hope that her recovery is smooth and quick for you.
I am so sorry to hear about Dakota and the difficult day Friday will bring for you.. My heart goes out to you. They are such close friends to us.. It sounds like you had given Dakota a long wonderful life...
Many Hugs
Dawn

Happy Easter to everyone. I can't believe how COLD it is here- not like April in Texas at all! There was snow in the Waco area yesterday. Dolfinz, I'm sorry to hear about your mother- I hope she's better soon. Also sorry about your dog. We thought we were going to have to put our cat to sleep a couple of months ago but with the help of our vet and alot of $$$ she's good as new- found out she's diabetic and we have to give her an insulin shot a day and she has to eat prescription diabetic cat food.

Today I.... PASS ALONG A HELLO TO EVERYONE !!!
dOFINZ, SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT WHAT IS GOING on with your mom.... a terrible way to escape the cold, also all you need is more work with your TOS..... certainly will be included in my thoughts and prayers !!!!! 7 years ago we had to put our pooor old dog down, but a week later we saved a pup who was scheduled to be put down and she is such a great dog... they truly make a house a home!!!

Red I will exchange the teens for the weather you are having in Texas

All in all I hope everybody has a good pain free day!!!!!!!!!

TODAY I.... would like to share an E-mail that I received which hits home and heart.

Support Our Troops

February 26, 2007

Contributed by an American Citizen
I love this e-mail. Support our troops!
Think about this:

A mother asked President Bush,
"Why did my son have to die in Iraq?"

Another mother asked President Kennedy,
"Why did my son have to die in Viet Nam?"

Another mother asked President Truman,
"Why did my son have to die in Korea?

Another mother asked President F.D. Roosevelt,
"Why did my son have to die at Iwo Jima ?"

Another mother asked President Wilson,
"Why did my son have to die on the battlefield of France?"

Yet another mother asked President Lincoln,
"Why did my son have to die at Gettysburg?"

And yet another mother asked President Washington,
"Why did my son have to die near Valley Forge?"

Then long, long ago, a mother asked...
"Heavenly Father, why did my Son have to die on a cross outside of Jerusalem?"

The answers to all these are similar --
"So that others may have life and dwell in peace, happiness and freedom."
This was emailed to me with no author and I thought the magnitude and the simplicity were awesome.
If you don't stand behind our troops, please, feel free...to stand in front of them!
