Exclamation sign in

Hi Sandy I am sorry that you are having trouble with the sign in????
Perhaps Jo or curious will help assist with the problem,

You mention having ongoing problems with the arma dn shots of cortizone, if you have a repetative job the onset for w/c would be the start of those treatments.; this is seen as a n escalation of the injury.

Just because the surgery was years later does not mean it is a new injury, it is an escalation of the previous exsisting from the job duties.
I would consult an attorney to protect your rights.

I would consult with another doctor also, not the surgeon that did the surgury, he will never admit he did soemthing wrong, and it seems like the surgery escalated a real problem by shaving down the collor bone or digging in the area he was in.

Another thing, some people heal very slow from surgery, they do have swelling from truma. It could take a year to calm things down, not that it is the situation but is a possibitly,

Do you try to do things at home. Some gals are type A personality, spic and span homes, and always keeping physiacally busy while healing. Not that that is your case but I thought I might mention just in case you are over doing.

It sounds more like you have trouble taking cloithers from hangers let alone being a merrymaid.

I would find a top doctor to diagx and advise you before things get worse.
Having an EMG is not a top priority. It is similar to if you fell and strained your ankle; unless you broke it it is not going to show the muscle strain or nerve problems on an xray.

Jsut a couple thoughts, but please consult an attorney, most are free for a consult.
Even escalation of previous condition is their problem and why the boss dows not want you back, too late for him to use that arguement.
Keep us posted
Dianne

hi sandy

be sure when you log in to click to the box that says "remember me". other wise every time you try and reply, you are "logged out" because the site doesn't remember you.

also choosing the Reply to Thread button instead of the quick reply helps.

depending on your browser, you may have to allow cookies and pop-ups from NeuroTalk. i know the extra smileys won't pop up if that isn't allowed.

i hope this helps.

Curious

Question Another thing

Sandy Just clicking on the reply box will not work. Under a post on the RIGHT side, is an icon to use for a quick reply

This allows a no frills reply.

Or just click the
The LEFT side under responses "REPLY" button.

I just thought that maybe something that you were doing, using the box and it was not activated as a field to enter text????

LEt us know that your are able to reply OK,
Di

You mention having ongoing problems with the arma dn shots of cortizone, if you have a repetative job the onset for w/c would be the start of those treatments.; this is seen as a n escalation of the injury.

Well this is my problem now, 1st off i dont understand that much about workers comp. BUT about 2 years ago when my shoulder started to hurt i was working at the airport loading all the heavy bags in the plane OVER AND OVER again for 6 months, i finally got to the point where i could not take the pain anymore and quit that job... I then went to waitress job and again could not do that! Then went to the hospital hoping that would be easier(guess not) ended up having surgery. SO to this company it is a pre exsisting condition, its all over my application that i had arthrits and such in my shoulders..I just got papers in the mail today that they denied and now want all my drs names that have treated me in the previous years..... Will they go back to the former employers? And would they cover it if it was only arthritis and such that was aggrivated by the repetative lifting at my first job?
AS far as cleaning, yea right! I do manage to do some but like you said not alot! I can put clothes on the hanger but forget about lifting them up into the closet, I cant lift anything over 5 pounds with my arm it just feels like the shoulder is coming right out of the socket....i do ALOT with my left hand inclding eating!

Grin YEA your a certified TOS family member

Sandy, my son was injured as an airline baggage handler, he had an overweight Snap On Tools bag not red taged. You could see the person ripped off the red tags that had been on it. He thought it was a computer case at first, not prepared for the weight. As he took a case in each hand, and pulled, the extreme weight twisted him to the ground. he had an annular tear in the lumbar spine, cracked facet and TOS stretch injury...

My daughter was 16, waitressing, she could not lift a large serving tray as a banquet waitress and the floor manager lifted it. GREAT, she could not get it down and pulled all the nerves and muscles in her arm, neck, and severe damage the rest of her life. She was one of Dr. Toguts severe cases.

We seem to be a family affair, my Uncle slung a sledge hammer for a living deveoped TOS, and his DIL from a car accidnet. We have treated with Dr.Scott Fried in Norristown,

Did you want to set your picture as your avatar? it will show on each post then.
WELCOME
Di
