Default Stretches for nerves

From Madden PT:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4aXRj0uIj4

What do you think of these three stretches for the arm nerves? Go or no go?

im at work but i will watch this when i get home! have not seen before

ive noticed for me it depends on how jacked up my shoulders are. i was attempting nerve glides when my shoulders were in a bad position to start with so i think i wound up stretching the nerves instead of gliding them. its especially dangerous if your shoulders droop

Looks pretty good to me , I see he shows a version of the foam roll use too.

It would have been better if they actually showed him using the wall so people could see how much pressure/force he is using, or not using..

One thing I would suggest depending on how you are doing w/ symptoms/pain is- don't over do or try to muscle through anything new. Even if it feels good while doing it you have to remember about the delayed pain response.
It isn't worth starting up a flare or set back.

In one of the comments below the video he says this too-
[See the best PT or physio in your area who can manipulate your first rib. Call and ask beforehand...as not all PTs will do this.

Thoracic outlet or elevated first rib (this is under your collar bone at neck level) can put pressure on the C8 nerve root and ulnar nerve (causing the pinky symptoms).]

I do these. I especially like the ulnar nerve one. I do one that is similar to the 2nd one that Dr. Ando gave me When I tried the 3rd one it is pretty tight I may add that. Ive been doing them every day for 9 months and it may help with all the exercises combined, but it is not a cure. I also lay on the roller but mine is soft and a whole one. My favorite is still laying on the roll to mobilize my ribs.
You just need to be really careful not to over stretch. it feels good while you ae doing it but can cause flares. Start really slowley-so I say GO!

its weird bc i can do the head turning ones

which i did not think i would be able to do at all, right? i would think those would flare up you guys too

but i can do those pretty good/consistently, might be a little tingling at most but it goes away

whereas the ones with my arm straight/flexed wrist, it feels like my wrist is going to rip in half, without even turning my head.

i dont get it

I presume you find them helpful then. How long do you do them? I've just been doing about 30 seconds, each stretch, each side. Two of them feel especially tight though. I might want to increase to open them up.
