I felt jealous reading your message here.

Which stretches do you do on your non-surgery side that give you relief from the pulsing?

I main one that helps is stand next to wall, place arm closest to wall palm down on wall so arm is flat against wall opening up chest. Start with hand lower than waist and slowly move hand up wall opening up chest. I will look for a pic of this.

TIA for a pic. Maybe it's just that I just got up, but I'm having a hard time picturing this. Does it have name?

When you stand next to the wall, is it in front of you, in back of you, or on the side of you?

When you move the hand up, is the arm sweeping out an arc, or is the elbow bent for a good part of the movement?

Chroma, sorry I have been busy. You stand with your side to the wall and arm is sweeping into an arc with a straight arm

start with hand below waist height and slowly slide up wall. Hope this helps you. http://www.greatabsguide.com/html/pi...cep_wall_2.jpg

Is the picture you tried to embed the same as the picture you linked to?

Do you do a certain number of reps or go by feel? Do you come back in the same extended arc, or let the ram drop?

Which muscles would you say you are stretching?

Hey, how about a video?

Same pic, I go by feel and yes I come down same arc slowly. Stretched pecs, pec minor, biceps. You can add a side head bend for a better stretch

Thanks for your patience and explanations. I'll try this exact stretch the next time I get the pulsing and see if it's my salvation or not.

I still get a lot of help from reaching across with the opposite hand and shoving the first rib down, close to the neck. I tilt the neck to create some slack in the scalenes. I hope that helps someone.

Could be vascular TOS. Could... Had similar symptoms and it turned out that on my left side, I had Arterial TOS (left side NTOS).
