Well even my pec minor is super tight, a PT said it is the tightest he has seen in his career equal to a rope. The question is whether it is purely due to exercise (pushups and chest presses), posture (computer posture) or due to lack of scapular stabilization that forces the pectorals to compensate. That then sets up a vicious circle as tight pectorals are bad for the shoulder.
Try stretches and see if they work without flaring you up.
