I woke up today feeling awful. I have to take my son for physical therapy for a fractured elbow ... and i'm wiped out already and its only 9am. I just feel like crap. I guess 2 days of being busy driving, going out, etc has now taken its toll.

It's funny how that works isn't it... I'll go a couple of days feeling good. I'll use that time to catch up on housework, errands, etc... sometimes I even wonder if I'm turning a corner and even get a little excited...then BAM...down for the count....
Try to rest your head today. I hope your son is feeling better..... |

rest just isn't in my vocabulary...i hate it.
I'm going to attempt it later though. I had to take him for physical therapy...and then we picked a tree out ...when I went in to pay -- wow...all the lights christmas music etc...I can tell it was overwhelming. |

Yeah that sounds like torture... I have avoided the malls for that reason. I went to Walmart last night and I started to feel an anxiety attack come on. Too much stimulation. Christmas is right around the corner. I had to go.
I have my nephews orchastra concert on the 15th. I told my sister I will try and bring my own car just in case. I'm able to handle little stores. I do like going to goodwill to try and find "treasures" lol. I'm only in for about ten minutes. If it's too busy I make it quicker. I can do the grocery store but by the time I hit the last few aisles I'm like screw this, Lets go.... I too am a person who doesn't like to rest. I have been resting but it doesn't seem to make that much of a difference. I have started the gym so I can at least feel healthier. I quit smoking almost eight months ago and I need some release. This has been quite the challenge with the PCS. I hope you and your son are feeling better soon..... |

My Neuro said to walk everyday. I am going to be adding light weights this week and see how I do. I'm determined to lose the wt. I've gained resting for five months..lol So yes I notice I'm happier and I feel like I'm able to do something for myself. This is very important to me. Good luck. Let me know how it goes. The eliptical is nice too because there is no jarring. I was going to do that this week. |
