Default personal question

Having a hard time with this... met a nice guy. Really special. How do I drop the PCS bomb? Is there even a good way to do this?
Any experiences please? Thank you.

well speaking as a guy who is dealing with PCS, I'd assume most guys would be respectful. If you two connect, I'd say you have nothing to worry about. I really like for people to be truthful with me, just as I am truthful with them. I'm only 18, but I feel like that's some o.k. insight for you!

I would say that since he knows you post injury and is still seeing you - he is comfortable with the "new" you complete with all the PCS quirks.

Hope you find happiness

I prefer to get it out in the open right away because there is no sense wasting time with someone who can't or won't be able to deal with the WHOLE you, including PCS. (They will see it sooner or later.)

Some people can handle it; some can't. The guy I was in a 6 year relationship with couldn't so I got out. I went out with one guy and he didn't like that sometimes I couldn't just go out - I needed quiet with no notice.

Then I was with a guy for 4 months and he was great about it. First date asked if there was anything he needed to know, if I had meds, who he should call or what he should do in certain circumstances. We decided to just be friends but he was and is great.

I have been with a guy now for 1 1/2 months. He wanted to know the same things. He understands.

The relationship I started 6months prior to accident lasted 2years when I got the diagnosis in Nov it ended because he said he could not deal anymore...by this time the most horrible part and person I was at that time had came and now 3months later (of diagnosis) I am feeling a lot better.

All I could think of was he liked the unhealthy "crazy"mania during my one way ticket to hell.....I was faced in Dec with a total heartache, crazy symptoms in my mind that I almost checked myself into a inpatient hospital, my family hurting, had to get out of school, stop working, was rock bottom....until I found myself & inner peace as the High Power guided me through.

Now I am staying away from the relationships because I can't deal with the stress....sucks and lonely but I had to focus on my family and I.
