It's possible that craving sugar is a symptom of a serotonin deficiency. Sweet things will give you a boost but you'll crash as your blood sugar comes down, slow release foods like oats are best.

Symptoms overcome: Nausea, head pressure, debilitating fatigue, jelly legs, raised pulse rate, night sweats, restlessness, depersonalisation, anxiety, neck ache, depression.
Symptoms left: Disturbed sleep, some residual tinnitus.

Interesting article. I am vit D deficient and I need sugars/caffeine as well as have a gambling problem.

Have you ever had a glucose tolerance test to see if you cycle your glucose levels ?

Too much sugar gives me anxiety attacks, headache and tingling in my neck and back of head.
