Thanks Mark. Only reason im still worked up is because an er nurse looked at it (who used to be a radiologist tech for years before) and spotted a few things right away. Like I said though, I know shes not a radiologist but shes unsure why they wouldnt be noted or even mentioned.

Was she an MRI technologist or an X-Ray technologist ? The images are not the same.

I think the report is comprehensive. It mentions the various brain structures. What you are seeing may be what the report is describing.

This is true Mark. I suppose that could be the case, but still doesnt describe a few of the white spots. But anyways, you are correct in the fact that im creating an anxiety over it right now. Its just that so badly I want them to figure out whats going on, and fix it. Im 7 months in (and many of your are much farther along) and just having trouble coming to the realization that I may not ever be the same.

Im just sick of hearing the Dr say one day your going to wake up and feel fine. I dont think its possible now at 7 months in. Just my faith is slowly declining, and im finding myself not improving. I get excited when I wake up and theres no headache, but as soon as I get out of bed, bam, there it is. Its happened almost every morning now. I wake up and im happy, I think its finally the day that changes my life back to normal, but as soon as I stand up out of bed, the headaches come on.

Sick of it. Afraid for my job, afraid for my finances, afraid for my family, and afraid for what my future holds for me if im stuck living like this. My social life has basically become nill because I cant tolerate stuff any more. I have trouble being out in the heat and the sun.

Sorry, just need to get it out of me. Enoughs enough for me already, I just want to be old me again.

Hi, sitke here again!

I get it totally, this is beyond awful, it is frightening when one person says one thing and another says something else.

There are certain Dr's that deal with headaches, a Dr who knows a lot about migraines....think I've mentioned before you can have both seizures and migraines, plus migraine leading in to seizures and vice versa, all quite complicated.

Can you search or be referred to a Dr specializing in headaches?

kev,

Your symptoms are your diagnosis. I doubt you will ever get any imaging that will show the injury. There may be a research imaging system that can find an injury but they are rare and not used for standard diagnostic work.

You may need to learn to move slower, such as when you get out of bed. Your brain may not be able to handle quick changes in position.

For many of us, we get some of our old self back by learning how to manage our symptoms and triggers.

My best to you.

got an mri done after 8/9 months. it was normal. my doc is taking my symptoms less seriously. will have to switch doc. I got it done to rule out any serious injuries, but post-concussion syndrome does not show up on mri.
