I get this pressure in my head that feels like it is coming from the inside - as if my brain is swelling inside my head and causing the pressure. I used to have it constantly, but now it seems to be different from day to day. I can't find a pattern to what causes it.
Is this normal? What causes this feeling? Is it neck related? Why would it come and go? Is it increased inter cranial pressure? If so, isn't that a very bad thing? I tell my neurologist about it and she kind of just ignores it. Can this be treated somehow? Thank you.

I suffer from this as well, particularly after activity. I believe it is due to poor circulation, leading to pressure differentials that we sense.
Like you, mine has gotten better over time. I would think that this can be seen as a positive sign, in some sense... it's better than it used to be. Just this morning I discussed this with a Physical Therapist at a concussion clinic and he believed it is suggestive of a physical problem too. |

I've had this, like MicroMan I think it's related to poor circulation. Fish oil and regular exercise should help over time, even if it's just daily brisk walking. Making sure you have good posture might help too. Finding patterns to PCS is frustratingly difficult.

So when you say poor circulation, what do you mean exactly? What is it that is causing the poor circulation?
