Morning everyone!
Well as you all know, we have tortoises as pets. Well our largest one and most active decided to have insomnia and make racket half the night. I was dead asleep when she first started to try and get out of the tank...normally she is sleeping. She kept doing it no matter what we tried and kept me up longer than what I was used to. This morning I am very tired. Unfortunately I also have two doctor appointments almost back to back today. So no time to rest until later today.

Good luck with the drs. wendy. I'm going to clean, cook, and water the grass seed....still no rain here. ~sigh

Yesterday I was on my way downtown and drove past the "old folks home" and there was a woman, lying in the grass on the front lawn. I turned into their drive because I was afraid she'd fallen.....before I could get out of my car, I saw her reach out and pick a dandelion. *grin. How great it is to lay in the grass on a sunny day!!!

I had a full day.. First I went to my favorite store and got a tall doll. I now have 3 of these kind. Then done some other arrands and came home. I grabed a to eat, then off to my friends house to go look at tomb stones. We had to go a ways to get there, and it took much longer than I thought. I know this sounds boring to you, but someday you will have the same thing to go threw.

Last night I worked on this dollls hair and now I am washing doll clothes. That's all I bought there. Today, I'd like to paint somemore on my porches. I have only got started. Well I better go for now. Got some phone calls to make. Hope you all have a good day!

Good morning, Got a kid home sick with me today so my day will be filled with "mama can ya bring me _ _ _ _ " all day long Plus hubby doesn't go in till 5 today so my day is shot. I really do enjoy my time when they are all out of the house.

I am going to get out there on the treadmill and escape for a while. The wind has finally died down some.

Billie I was watching antiques roadshow on tv last night and there was this doll that was 39 inches tall and it was worth over 3000.00 bucks. It was an old one but can't remember how old. I was thinking of you when they put that big doll up there.

Wendy, I hate it when our animals are on a different schedule also. Makes you want to go wake them up when they are sleeping all day.

Alffe, Laying on the grass on a sunny day does sound like fun. Maybe we should all take a nap in the dandelions

I just realized today is Tuesday. Can't seem to remember what day it is anymore and forgot to mark the day of for yesterday.

Wendy, Zoe kept me up all night onc ...made we stay up with her, so I feel for you! How about if you set up a web cam on your torties so we could see them...I found a site for baby eagles..think maybe it came from our forum???
I love torties even though I don't have one I think they would be great fun!

Alffie, awwww, how kind of you! What a sweet way for the Lady to have some fun. My son used to fall out of the tree(just for fun) to scare people...caused a neighbor to call and ask if he was playing or really hurt! No..he was just a RASCAL!

Billie, nothing anyone says is boring my friend. So glad we got to talk last night and so embarrased I fell asleep talking..must have been the ambien.. I had a eating episode too I think???? Slept on the couch until 5 am till hubby found me. I feel lighter in spirit today yet dizzy. I got to quit the booze!!!! LOL

Sue, sorry your child is sick and even more sorry you have to work so hard...I remember those days and goodness it was Mama this or I didn't do it! Oh forgot..Idunno! Hubby's home are a different story. LOL

I too had problems going to sleep last night....came home after taking my hubby to work and slept for a couple of hours...canceled a client but he understood. I feel better after this nap.

The tall doll is the one I got yesterday. The other Anne gave me several months ago. She is a sweet doll. The new one has took a lot of work on her hair. I named her Donna cuz she has hair the color of my sons. I have so much fun playing with them. I wish I had one worth a lot of money. I doubt if Goodwill's are. I only got a very few orginals.

Greetings and salutations all! I am enjoying my company this week. My sister-in-law and I have sore jaws from talking so much! Unfortunately, my pain has not been cooperating at night so sleep has been terrible. I will sleep when they leave tomorrow.

I had my first "Horizontal Therapy" session yesterday. (A high volume electromagnetic type of thing. Supposed to re-educate the nerves to behave themselves!) I enjoyed it and felt no pain when I was finished. It was only when I laid down and tried to sleep that the pain kicked in. I have 6 more treatments to go but I think it will be helpful.

Billie - are you planning on building a new wing onto your home for all these new members of your household? Maybe you should look for a doll museum to buy or start one yourself. Your "finds" are beautiful. What a fun hobby.

Froglady is not the only one who forgets what day it is. Nancylady forgets as well! Forgets what time, too. Duh.

Sue - So sorry about your sick one. He sounds a lot like my DH. "Honey, will you get me a beer?" Ha Ha

Alffe, you pick the lawn and I come and join you. We can look at the clouds and see what shapes or objects they form.

Shelly - My DH was in sales and I hated it when he was gone. Every noise in the house sounded ominous. Hang in there honey, it will go by fast.

Wendy - hope you get some sleep tonight. How do you learn to talk tortoise?? If you could talk to them, they would obey you better.
