Thumbs up Beautiful Weekend~

It's suppose to be a nice weekend for a change. Seems like we don't make much effort to even have roll call anymore. I know most of you are having pain issues and I hope things are looking up today and Sunday. Big {{Hugs}} to all of you!

I got up in a good mood and painted a "quad cycle". Its not a tricle, so what can I call it? Anyway, its an antique and looking better. I bought it for my big doll I got when I visited Gaye in August. The two were ment for each other.

Hope you all have a nice weekend.

Mornin' all,
Those leaf colors just warm me up!
gloomy and overcast here today but sunny and warm yesterday- well that's Oregon in the fall and spring LOL

been getting firewood and stacking it in the woodshed

still working to organize and clean up around the shop area - but 2 of the boys have major car projects going on so it's hard to keep it halfway tidy.

Have a wonderful day...
Here's photo of Mt Hood that I took a couple days ago - this view is just a mile from our house. It takes about 2 hrs to drive to the mountain from our place.

Good morning, I have been reading roll call just not always posting. I hate to keep posting about pain so I don't.

I am holding steady at the 5 pound loss and hope to get back to exercising today so that I can add to that.

It is windy here today and the temps are definitely getting cooler. We made it through another summer, huh Nancy Every July I say I just can't do this again...but I do

Have a great weekend everyone...Sue

Default Feeling Better - YEAH!!!!

Billie - Thanks for the beautiful picture of the leaves. We used to have tons of those when we lived in the Salt Lake area. Yup - one year I counted all of them and we had 187,213 leaves to pick up. Honest.

Jo - What a beautiful picture - thanks for sharing it. I enlarged it for "better viewing" and the moon over to the right made it even prettier. Where are you from Vancouver, WA/Portland? My step-son and fiance live and work there. We visited and had so much fun.

Sue - Next year we are going to run away July 1st - right? It's nice but windy and cool weather is on it's way! Seriously - we are looking to rent a ski condo in Park City, UT for eight weeks or so, depending on the deal we can arrange. But we don't have kids at home anymore - just the dog who thinks she is people. Sorry you are in pain as well. It is no fun, especially for a mom.

Curious - I will put the Texas State Fair on my list of places to go before I can no longer travel. Sounds like a blast!

Dorrie - You have a great week-end, too!

And Barbara, if you check in, I am so sorry your friend is gone. He was so lucky to have you. You did a fantastic thing for another person and I hope it comes back to you three times over.

Love to all of you!
Nancy

Thumbs up Hi again~

Bear and I went to a festival after lunch. Such a small town and the people were coming out of the woodwork. We both enjoyed ourselves and Bear even got treats and water. Thats more than they gave me. LOL (It was an animal shelter tent). Thats new to me, but Bear smelled his way there.

They had dolls there, but not the kind Gaye and I like. These were all Big Girls and we like the babies. Bear decides he will go to the bathroom in the worse spot! I had to drag him away and I didn't look back. LOL It maybe the last time I take him around people. Kids ran up and ask to pet him. He just eats that up. He was so excited when we came home.Think I may of got a sunburn. All and all, it was a nice time.

All

I've neglected to check in much since my move, but can say I am feeling a little settled here. Living with Dad is cool we haven't lived together since I was 13 (30yrs) and he is pretty neat.

I still wake up wondering where I am and what I'm going to do. I guess it's pretty normal. Until yesterday the humidity was unbearable, but now it's perfect fall weather breezy, and sunny temps in the 70's. Now just waiting for the leaves to start changing.

I help my sister for a little bit move some rocks from the truck that she bought for landscaping. Now my b-i-l is decorating the yard for Halloween. He tied a witch on broomstick to our tree and it looks like she crashed. Dad couldn't sell at his garage sale, I bet people will be kicking themselves now, it's too funny.

I've lost 4lb since I got here, and eating healthier meals, Dad's an awesome cook. I want to start walking the neighborhood now that the weathers cooled, not sure I can do more then walk to the corner. I've got to start somewhere, I'm not getting any younger.

I will do my best to be more attentive here. Hope everyone is doing the best they can. I've got pain problems like many so I won't elaborate.
