Thats one of the procedures I had yesterday. And I'm waiting or looking
at gallbladder surgery I think. I believe they can't look past that now.

Have 12 to 15 stone in my gallbladder, and I think it better come out.

Hoping the surgeon agrees. I had a appointment already set up for some talks on a couple of things. Now will add this, and take one thing off the
list. The hiatal hernia isn't there.

dmom and fancy .... you two are in my thoughts and prayers ...
so far i am staying away from sweets ... except the hard candy i am currently stuck on due to quitting smoking 16 days ago ... these last 2 months have been an ongoing list of changes ... new job 1st of september, stopped biting my nails shortly after starting the new job , stopped smoking 16 days ago, and now i am working on my weight ... i have started to use the salad plates for my dinner plate and am trying to get into the habit of breakfast ... breakfast for me usually consists of hot coffee and out the door ... i don't eat alot ... lunch is cup of soup or something equally light ... dinner is where i eat and its usually around 8 or so ... with more coffee ... i am a big coffee drinker ... on average my calorie intake is 1200 at the most so i am really confused as to why i am not loosing weight ... oh ... my height is 5'5" with medium bone structure

Well for me if I wait to eat all the food at night and then do no exercise
or moving around. It is ususless. I have defeated my purpose.

So I have tried to start to eat a breakfast, I'm trying to have that
then a snack, and a light lunch.

THen a snack and dinner. I try to then have a snack at night.

6 meals is what was recommended to me.

And I try to do that with snacks.

Thanks for your Prayers & thoughts~ I had to work at one of my volenteer jobs today and I am worn out. Not feeling bad at all tho. Debbie eating hard candy is what started me gaining when I quit smoking. I did gain big time. Hopefully you will be able to give up the candy in time. I know it is hard to quit smoking also, but hang in there, I quit 30 yrs. ago. I hate the smell of smoke now. My husband even died of lung cancer two yrs. ago. You are giving up a habit, you will someday be glad you did. I'm proud of you.

Donna I too, was told to eat 6 small meals a day. I am a diabetic and when I get hungry, my sugar can drop fast. I have seen it get down to 64 just last week. It should be around a 100. The gall bladder surgery isn't so bad if you can have it done the easy way. I of'course had to have it done the old fashion way. It was a nightmare!

Best of luck gals on your diet quest!

Still having lots of abdominal pain. So eating is a pain.

I'm just doing what I can eating wise. And trying to keep up
with all my meds. I'm also getting ready to get back into
exercising if at all possible. Its a matter as to whether I can
handle the pain.

But my gallbladder needs to come out. So hoping the surgeon
on Wednesday agrees. The only problem with that is I'm afraid
I'll leave a co-worker doing some trainings alone, so I have
to try and schedule it around that.

hello have not posted in here in a while, I posted a while back about my high cholesterol and what i could do and you all shared ideas and were helpful, thank you, I posted this in the insights and felt it prudent to share with everyone here. you all were instumental in getting me motivated and trying to succeedd

thank you everyone

just got my 3 month results on my cholesterol remember 319 0r 339 I forgot already shesssssssss, and he just told me, either way I am down to 224, yes that i got right, I also did it with diet some exercise, those yogurt shots that are for the cholesterol and watched my sugars and fats,I really worked at it, I also lost 22 pounds and a lot of death points, with out special meds, I took caduet for a about 8 days and ended up in hospital and after i got out they tossed me lipitor which I tossed, tired of the med bs and side effects, slowly becoming a whitch and gonna use my herbs and spices my prettty

either way I did change a lot of my life style so that did help, and as for the one count that needed to go up it did slightly, but i told him that result was w/ no meds. so it wasnt forced up by some synthetic chemical and will rise some more next time as I will keep to my diet and try to ease my hearst work load
