My tdoc had to cancel again because she is ill. That's 4 times recently. I haven't called back to reschedule yet. I do not want another tdoc, but it's frustrating. So much is going on right now.

I did get my nap in Sunday. My husband was not happy about it. Well TS. When I need to sleep I have to sleep. I woke up feeling better.

I went out yesterday to get a few things. I bought a new med case- it's larger, with very large print. Also, the am side is light yellow and the pm side is a darker green. I forgot the gatorade, though.
Right now I have 3 drinks in ront of me: orange seltzer, coffee, and grape kool-aide. I'm drinking a lot, also peeing a lot.

I woke up at 7am because my husband raised the heat over 80. It was so hot and dry I couldn't breathe. I had cookies and cream ice cream for breakfast

The swallowing study is at 1. I hope they're able to pick up on the dysphagia because it's there. I'm wondering how long they'll keep me there and hoping I don't have to take my nose ring out (it's not meant to come out because it's a straight post with 2 balls on the end & the hole is supposed to grow around it).

A credit card company has been calling me at least 20 (not exaggerating) times a day between my cell and home phones. They won't let me do a payment plan and they keep lying to me... They've called like this several times in the past and convinced me to give like $150+ (hard hit for us) and tell me my payments will only be $40/mo. if I do.... Then I get the bill and the minimum payment is $100+. I've told them twice that I won't deal with them cuz they're liars. I keep hoping my account goes to collections.

Reluctantly, I have to get in the shower now.

I'll let you guys know about all the tests and appointments.

Call the higher up people with the credit card group. Let them know that
you wont be paying anymore money till they quit calling like this.

I would tell them things in the mail might get a payment. Period.

I totally relate !! credit cards people are the worst ever !!! they have no mercy !!! they are rude, mean and wont stop bothering.... so annoying !!! try not to stress yourself... ignore them if you can... dont answer the phone...
And follow Donna's advice.

I hope that the test today went ok.

It's hot in my place because the a/c stopped working. I'm mad because I had to handle this myself -- hubby tried to tell me last night that it is perfectly normal for the machine to make weird noises and leak water.

By this afternoon it had stopped cooling altogether.

So, the credit card co. is calling more today- already 11 cell messages, and 14 calls on the home phone. I bet this means my account is going to collections soon!!!! I'm not answering the phone at all. I've asked for a manager in the past and it did absolutely no good. He was a total a-hole, too.

I had the swallowing test. It wasn't too bad. At least it was short. The speech therapist feed me all sort of consistencies of barium (YUCK!) and they video xray'ed everything. I have a form of dysphagia and apparently something with my tongue is messed up. She says it's the MS. They didn't feed me anything crumbly though because the barium doesn't come that way.
So, no yucky special diet, except to keep doing what I'm doing. Make foods soft and tuck my chin. She said no straws tho.

Knee doc tomorrow and expect a vagina monologue on Friday. I guess I have Thursday off.

I don't really know what's up with me lately. I'm definitely down and not feeling well. Lots of anxiety, but it thankfully responds pretty well to the xanax. Lots of pain, but I'm used to that by now. Exhausted!
You know sometimes lately I'm having trouble distinguishing between reality and things I've dreamed of or seen on TV. I don't think anyone else has noticed. But I have. Does this happen to any of you?
Detached or something? Escaping reality in general?
Have I finally come to the point where I just can't take it anymore, and this is why this is happening?

I actually have to nap again. It's normal for me to need a nap during the day anyway, but I don't like the sense of urgency about it lately...

derealization can happen when you are under a great deal of stress, and you are.
chronic stress is so bad for us...that is why I am hoping that all of your doctor appointments will be over soon and that you have some real answers.
