You might want to ask the doctor if you can take a medication called Topamax. It helps a lot with migraines. Maybe a small-ish dosage will do the trick. AND it sometimes helps with bipolar illness as well.

I too hope you are safe and have seen the doctor very recently regarding your depression.

Please make sure he or she knows what is going on

and stay in touch.
