I hardly ever buy white things they get dirty so quickly especially something with arms, right at the cuff/sleeve.
just my opinion...  how big is the patch? bizi

15" by 12" inches approx. I was thinking the same thing about the jacket. I think it would be really striking on a white jacket, but I am torn as to if I should get the vest and put the patch on it or not. I have to decide on Monday, that's when the sale is over assuming they haven't sold out by then. So far so good. I figured I would be able to bleach it, but i just don't know. I think I will have some luck scoring one locally in a thrift store, so I will probably buy the vest online and get a jacket here in town, if I can't find one though....I just might get this one.

That other one I really liked was in lilac for $23 and I don't want lilac so that one's out too. Who knows? I might just get just what I want from the big thrift store in town. Won't know til I get there. There are a couple of bigger thrift stores so we'll see.

good luck in your search. would bleaching possibly interfere with the patch?
how are your nails doing, we have not seen them in a while. still doing them? bizi

HI Pammie... just getting caught up again...
I like the idea of a vest... i think i'd do natural denim. i wouldn't get white because the easiest (if not only) way to get certain stains out is to bleach and that would totally mess up the patch once it's on.... so... have you considered getting a black jeans jacket/vest? the patch would sorta blend like it was printed on then... i think for your weather i'd go with the vest option too, in terms of getting more wear. for colder weather, you can wear a sweater or sweatshirt under the vest. the one thing i saw in some of the jacket models posted was some were cut-offs (waist-level)? i like my vests just a tad longer... not real long but not midriff or even close... the style vest you posted looked good. this is personal taste though. have fun shopping! ~ waves ~ |

Oh man, I feel AWFUL! This stomach bug hit me AGAIN! I'll spare you all the details. But needless to say I am going to spend the day in bed. I had a jacket on last night, and I was still freezing! 100 degree fever. Now that you've both mentioned it I do think bleaching would ruin the patch.
 So we'll see what happens. I will probably get that vest.

Phew! That was bad, but I feel much better today. Woke up with a headache but was glad it wasn't a migraine so that's okay. I am doing better. That's the bottom line.
 Thought I would post a little update.

Sure understand about the headache. I’ve had one twice this week. I was sorry I canceled on a parent today but headache and drive don’t mix.
Thank goodness, she emailed me the results and they were good. Also they will meet again in the next Fifteen days so maybe I can attend the meeting. Donna

I understand that, driving with a headache is never advisable. Sorry you had two this week Donna. I feel much better today. Worked out this morning and did well all day. Something BIG happened today with kiddo, well tonight actually. He told me "Call" which means he wanted to talk to my mom, so I did, and he took the phone, then he started saying this one name, and talking about police, go to jail, and get on the ground. Repeated it a few times and said, Ran away, and I was like WTF?
So she's on the other end asking him questions and then when I asked he gave the phone to me and we talked a bit, figured out it was at school supposedly something like this happened. So my mom talked me through the links on the local sheriff's website and we located an entry there on the calls page for the day and Jackie had said this happened in the lunch room so we figured it was lunchtime and I'll be darned, he was RIGHT! He actually managed to communicate all this to us and low and behold at 11:13 AM "Juvenile Runaway" was logged this morning! I am STUNNED! Simply stunned he was able to articulate so well and answer enough questions that we got the idea to look for proof and then to find it? WOW, just wow!!! Isn't that pretty incredible?

That is great it would seem small too many, but I can really understand why it’s so important. Make sure you email or if you write back and forth too the teachers let them know what happened They will want to know about this. You are doing such a great job. Donna
