Dear Majo,

Waves has words of wisdom.
Sometimes we cannot please people. Please yourself. In fact, I've purposely upset people before so that they know to give me space. I did it recently to a stupid person and his wife at work. Maybe it was not entirely his fault. I just do not want to try to be nice to him. It would require too much work.

Maybe pretend that you are queen of your own kingdom. These little people do not mean anything to you. They are allowed to be in the same physical space as you. They breathe the same air.
Ignore them. You are the queen of the lab.
