My state is suppose to have snow/sleet/and freezing rain on Sunday. I was at Walmart, and shopping for what I needed to have today. I could feel the crowds panic, and urgency about the weather. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Steve,

Shoppers go wild during these times.
In another post, DiMarie called the buying FRENCH TOAST: Eggs, Milk, Bread.

Those sleet storms are beautiful but dangerous.
I hope that your trees and place -- and mostly you -- stay safe.

Hi All

I don't think Florida is off the hook yet for a cold winter. (30's). WE got a break this time, but it can change very quickly. Stay warm, ginnie:grouphug:

DiMarie 12-07-2013 02:20 PM

The winter has started! Ski sloops are open and we are on about number three or four for weather events.

Yup, everyone is out getting the French Toast supplies again! We had sleet, snow, ice last night from the remnants of the system from out west. Weird how the southern states were so much colder than us.

Sunday evening we will get a few inches from the storm that will hit Steve. How about the names they give the storms now? Not sure how I feel about that.

Be warm and safe. Buy a roll of Pillsbury cookie dough and back fast cookies to nibble on.

Brokenfriend 12-07-2013 08:18 PM

I know what you mean Di. It's like they are giving these storms an identity when they name them.

My NOAA radio is beeping, and the media is frightening the public. There are probably shopping frenzies going on at all of the stores.

Our weather is suppose to start with snow, then it's suppose to sleet, and then turn into freezing rain. It's not suppose to go above 30 degrees tomorrow.

I hope that the power doesn't go out. I'm somewhat ready if it does. BF:hug::hug::hug:

I hate storms.
I hope your power doesn't go out either.
